Evil Town’s MMJ Comeuppance & Jack Herer Museum

    in News

Upland is the town in California that conspired with federal authorities to have collective operator Aaron Sandusky arrested, prosecuted in a kangaroo court and incarcerated in federal prison for 10 years. Now the small Inland Empire town faces a special election to rescind their ban that has been maliciously enforced and replaced with an ordinance that allows for a licensed and regulated MMJ distribution system.

The show’s first guest is Upland initiative Campaign coordinator Craig Beresh revealing the sordid and scandal plagued recent history of Upland, the wildly successful signature gathering campaign that collected enough signatures to require a special election and the nefarious plots being hatched by the city to prevent the election from being held.

The icon of all marijuana icons, many consider Jack Herer to be the Marin Luther King of the marijuana movement. His books, speeches, activism and over-the-top advocacy have inspired thousands and educated millions. Jennie Herer, Jack’s second wife, possesses a large collection of his personal belongings and other memorabilia and is determined to open a hemp museum whose core exhibit would highlight Jack’s contributions to freeing the weed as well as the man behind the icon.

This podcast is being done live from Las Vegas where the collection is stored. I will be in Las Vegas this week uncrating, sorting, labeling, photographing and cataloguing this historic treasure trove.  Jennie Herer will be on the show with me revealing the contents of this notable and extraordinary collection of a man whose name will forever be associated with ending marijuana prohibition and restoring the use of this ancient plant for the betterment of humanity.

Who cuffs the cops? Police excessive force 1.5 million judgment in California

    in Legal

What happens when a CHP officer "goes postal" and starts beating down a citizen with a display of excessive force?  Are we lead to believe this is a one-time incident or is the problem of assault & battery by police officers a bigger problem than we think?

Here is the police beatdown video, you can see the brutality and for yourself.

The incident was reported on fox news website:

"When this incident occurred, I promised that I would look into it and vowed a swift resolution," Farrow's statement said. "Today, we have worked constructively to reach a settlement agreement that is satisfactory to all parties involved."

That's great, there is a swift settlement, but this settlement agreement is NOT to MY satisfaction, as someone (who as a kid) was harassed for no reason by an officer in Upland, California, I would respectfully request that each CHP officer, and commanding officer, submit to 5 addtional excessive-force training videos PER YEAR so that this type of incident won't happen again.  The cop should also be cuffed, arrested, and read his rights.  Join Vondran Legal Civil Litigation Attorneys and Frontline Liesee as they examine the legal issues surrounding personal injuries caused by brutality of law enforcement officers.

Cynthia Macha serves as Director for the Western Museum of Flight at Torrance Airport which is her vocation as well as her passion.
She comes from an aerospace family and is an aerospace industry veteran with a natural affinity for all things aeronautical.
Her devotion to the Western Museum of Flight stems from a far stronger motivation than that.
The work of the museum serves to preserve and promote the rich heritage of the aerospace industry in southern California and she feels strongly that we must accomplish this preservation before the opportunity is lost.
Chris LeFave is a commercial pilot who voluntarily flies for the Commemorative Air Force Museum.
The CAF is a non-profit museum which is headquartered in Texas but has over 125 airplanes on display throughout the US.
The plane he will be giving rides in this Saturday is based at the Inland Empire Wing of the CAF at Riverside Airport.
The plane is a North American built Harvard II. It was built in 1941 at Mines Field which is now known as LAX.
Chris is a Southern California native. He is an amateur aviation archaeologist and enjoys aviation history.
He flies multiple warbirds from the WWII era such as the T-6 and Stearman along with many antique airplanes from the 40's.
He currently lives near Upland, CA where he shares a 1941 Porterfield airplane at Cable Airport.
This morning, they’re going to tell us all about the T-6 Flight Experience taking place this Saturday, November 16 at Zamparini Field.
