God's Gumshoe Investigates THE NEW TESTAMENT BIBLE.
From 3 perspectives
* The Biblical Worldview
* The Academic/Scholastic
* The Urantia Book:. Meaning of the Death on the Cross
Although Jesus did not die this death on the cross to atone for the racial guilt of mortal man nor to provide some sort of effective approach to an otherwise offended and unforgiving God; even though the Son of Man did not offer himself as a sacrifice to appease the wrath of God and to open the way for sinful man to obtain salvation; notwithstanding that these ideas of atonement and propitiation are erroneous, nonetheless, there are significances attached to this death of Jesus on the cross which should not be overlooked.
Death is the last act in the mortal drama. In your well-meant efforts to escape the superstitious errors of the false interpretation of the meaning of the death on the cross, you should be careful not to make the great mistake of failing to perceive the true significance and the genuine import of Jesus' death.
Mortal man was never the property of the archdeceivers. Jesus did not die to ransom man from the clutch of the apostate rulers. God never conceived of such crass injustice as damning a mortal soul because of the evil-doing of his ancestors. Neither was Jesus death on the cross a sacrifice which consisted in an effort to pay God a debt which the race of mankind had come to owe him.

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too:
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or, being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise;
If you can dream---and not make dreams your master;
If you can think---and not make thoughts your aim,
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same:.
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build'em up with worn-out tools;
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings,
And never breathe a word about your loss:
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on!"
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings---nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much:
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And---which is more---you'll be a Man, my son!
We are going to talk about how the system is set up. The child support can be unforgiving and one sided> As a man that pays child support I have a very strong opinion about this. We wanna her your honest opinion on this topic. All opinions are welcome on this one and its going to be a epic show and we are going to knock this MF out the park. 90 minute time limit for each caller we atre going to tear up the air waves. Im pissed and going to let it all hang out on this one.
Psalm 34:18 says "The LORD is near to the brokenhearted And saves those who are crushed in spirit. There are many Christians who sit in churches each Sunday with many burdens both present and past, too heavy to bear or carry on their own. Many have suffered from emotional, physical or mental scars that has contributed to their low self-esteem, depression, having thoughts of suicide and an unforgiving spirit. Well, our special guest and Street Evangelist Demetrius Guyton knows very well what it means to be wounded and scarred both emotionally and phyisically. While Satan was working to destroy Demtrius in every way possible, God had something much more in mind for the street evangelist who lived in rebellion, that lives to not only tell his story but bring an encouraging message of love hope, healing, deliverance and restoration. What is it in your life that makes you want to quit give up? What pain, hurt, or anger are you holding onto that God wants you to give to him? We don't always like to hear that the Lord uses our difficulities and pain to draw us to Himself, and yes to use our brokenness for His glory.

When Demetrius was only 2 yrs old his mother, with intent to kill him poisoned his bottle with hydrochloric acid and castor oil. But his story doesn't end there, and thats only by the grace and goodness of Almighty God. I've been on many informative conference calls to enhance my business, discover millionaire success strategies and inspire focus on goals. Even with all that much needed information of how to market my services and gain monetary wealth, I had not been on a call that could rescue me from myself. Yes I said rescue me from myself, my brokenness, my low self-confidence, my self-defeating beliefs and boundaries… From the lingering unforgiving pain of my past, sharing my soul and body with the wrong people, enduring physical abuse and near death experience(s). Or Rescued from my guilt for being what I convinced myself was a failure as a parent, from the shame for multiple divorces & toxic relationship choices. Then from careless career mistakes, lingering feelings of regret for continuous ridiculously poor financial decisions. Then last but not least the pestering kind of fear and anxiety that makes you loose sleep because you feel like a complete failure because you have not fulfilled any of your dreams. I felt like giving up! .

This week's topic of stopping before it's too late - choose forgiveness, focuses on judgement and anger consuming your time, money and energy. We look at how love, being valued and appreciated by others is blocked when the story you play in your head is an unforgiving tune of people disappoint me, I should be wary, and I need more protection. Together we will experience tools to forgiveness.

Such a great question to get clarity on, and the way it is described in ACIM is sure to give listeners and readers some new insight.
An unforgiving thought does many things. In frantic action it pursus its goal, twisting and overturning what it sees as interfering with its chosen path. (how many times have we felt justified in our unforgiveness only to hold onto it so tightly and painfully?
Forgiveness, on the other hand, is still, and quietly does nothing. It offends no aspect of reality, nor seeks to twist it to appearances it likes. It merely looks, and waits, and judges not. He who would not forgive must judge, for he must justify his failure to forgive. But he who would forgive himself must learn to welcome truth exactly as it is.
