Join Ms. Jennifer Pink as she shines her bright pink lights on an amazing single mom Patrice Johnson.
Patrice Johnson started inspired MOM in 2014, steaming from her own personal struggles of being a single mom. inspired MOM is a haven for MOM's that need a hug, some direction and a little inspiration. Patrice lives to be an inspiration to others, NOT because she's the perfect MOM but because she works towards HER perfection daily. Patrice brings many years’ of experience working with kids as a live-in nanny, home school instructor and currently an educator at Charles Drew Charter School in Atlanta. Inspired MOM is an organization that helps MOMs through their journey of parenthood. Inspired MOMs kicked off its first event in early 2014 with a mom’s appreciation dinner and cupcakes for dads that expressed to parents the appreciation that is sometimes missed. Every month after inspired MOM has hosted a FREE MOM's night out to give the moms a much needed break and time to socialize with other moms. Through social media outlets and the bi-weekly blog inspired MOM reaches hundreds of moms with useful parenting strategies and inspiration. inspired MOM strongly believes that every mom must find her own strategy that works for her family, and we are here to help. The mission of inspired MOMs is to build a bridge to help moms get to their destination. Patrice is her brand! MOM is an acronym that stands for mom on a mission.

It's natural to desire to be in a relationship. And if you beliee in "happily ever after" then that's what you desire. And yet a lot of women, particularly black women, aren't coupled up. But why? Is the so-called shortage of good black men real or a myth? Have many black women given up on finding a good brother? Would they rather be single than date and marry interracially? And is this a viable option for black women? Can a woman be single, celibate and happy?
"Some black women choose to be single rather than settle, but rarely is this discussed as a real explanation for why some black women are unmarried," writes Angela Stanley, a researcher at the Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnicity at Ohio State University. This prevalence is due in part to the growing trend of children born outside marriage — a societal trend that was virtually unheard of decades ago.
About 4 out 10 children were born to unwed mothers. Nearly two-thirds are born to mothers under the age of 30.
Of all single-parent families in the U.S., single mothers make up the majority. We will go over this plus a big announcement give a way from Avenue 4311 Store for singles mothers

[DIRECT QUOTE FROM OUR WEBSITE] We are not for every parent and their children. Our Parents say we attract: “Knowledgeable, mature, caring parents who want their children to learn and want to participate in their child’s growth mentally and educationally.”
[A quote from one of our dads on our website www.twlsnc24hr.com/partners/ 1 of a kind… My child has been attending for a little over 6 months and his progression (socially, comprehensive, awareness) has been remarkable. Not only does Ms. Rhonda challenge the children, but parents as well (she wants us to be formidable, instead of forgettable). It’s remarkable and astonishing to see how well he has adjusted to her and her methods. I love that its more than just numbers and letters; yet it’s our future she invests in. She sees 20-40 years down the line, when these children will be teaching their children and look back and can say it started at the “Talk, Walk & Learn Center”. We talk often and the passion, consistency, kindness, sincerity, open-minded, and creative methods she uses and educates the children with are 1 of a kind. My son is truly in the right hands to help guide him to a more challenging and prosperous life. -Cordario
