In this monumental 3rd quater edition, ITM will talk with Catherine Wake and Josef Mukasa (tour coodinators and chapparones for "The African Children's Choir").
The choir is composed of children, ages 7 to 12 from several African nations. Since it's inception in 1984, the choir has included children from Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa, Nigeria, and Ghana. Many have lost one or both parents through the devastation of war, famine, and disease.
They represent all the children of a continent, and they demonstrate the potential of African children to become strong leaders for a better future in their land.
Join us as we take a look inside the music and the individuals who have been a part of one of greatest humanitarian causes of our time.
Since their first recording in 1990, the internationally acclaimed Chicago Mass Choir has grown into one of the strongest and most exciting choirs on the gospel scene. They have been at the top of Billboard's charts, won numerous awards, and have been nominated for multiple Stellar Awards and Grammy Awards with their gimmick-free, straight ahead approach to gospel music.

NLP 4 Kids with Gemma Bailey Thursday October 24, 2013 @ 1pm (CST) Healthy Mind & Body radio is pleased to invite you to listen to our special guest, Gemma Bailey
Gemma Bailey, the founder and managing director of NLP4Kids.org, NLP4Teachers.org and NLP4Parents.
We help children with emotional literacy around life skills such as: motivation, communication, self belief and concentration. We manage a team of 45+ licensed, insured, DBS checked therapeutic coaches in the UK and worldwide who are working with children to build confidence and self-esteem to aid and compliment their academic achievement. Our coaches have completed specialized NLP training for children, have regular retraining and CPD. As well as working with schools, charities and health organizations globally via http://www.NLP4Kids.org we also work with parents and teachers plus other individuals and organizations that are responsible for impacting on young people's emotional well being, mental health and academic development. We've noticed that isolated emotional literacy trainings or outward bound courses get rave reviews from the pupils, but often make little impact long-term. As we are measuring changes over months and years with quantitative grading questionnaires, we can prove a measurable impact that delivers real emotional progression and value for money for LEAs and schools. Working with: Children & Young People's Mental Health Coalition, Lloyds TSB, The British Association of Counseling & Psychotherapy, London Youth Fire Brigade, YMCA, Action for Children and many more.
