Topic: Safety Cameras That Face Truck Drivers Inside The Cab of the Truck.
Truck Drivers discuss the trend at some carriers to install inward facing cameras that are said to improve safety. Though many employers now film employees at work for various reasons which include, safety, security, to monitor theft and performance, long haul truck drivers essentially live in their workplace and feel their privacy is being violated. What do you think?
Join our discussion as we chat with driver Ralph Acocella Jr. in a roundtable discussion about his experience working for a carrier with the inward facing cameras and how they were used in practice.
One more question to add to your list when you interview carriers you are considering working for.
Is there anything at all serious for politicians?
Is there anything at all serious for media?
Is there anything at all serious for our SCOTUS?
Politicians throws good money after bad.
Politicians pass laws based on the highest bidder.
24/7 Media regurgitating pablum that never had any meat in the beginning.
Character assassination is dished up daily by politicians, media, courts, and ate up by haters or the unknowingly ignorant.
Events get importance from politicians, media, and courts based on the class, fame, skin color of persons involved andthe news cycle on a given day
Many daily and ongoing ssues have matters of a serious nature that should be addressed but more times than not the politician, the media and the courts make decisions on what they view as the outcome before any facts are known. It is not out of the ordinary for facts to be twisted into lies to suit the agenda.
All of the above is quickly sinking America and her people into garbage holes. The solution is all America must be not just talkers of what is wrong today. We all must identify wrongs of most importance to us. Talk about those wrongs every chance we get, but always to not fail to offer solutions every opportunity we have.
We must decide what is most serious for America today. The dollar, a heart attack, our innocent children. Get serious America or we will lose the farm. The Iraq and Afgahnistan wars, stock market crash, housing foreclosures, auto industry, and government layoffs have already brought US to our knees. We must now call out politicians, media, and the courts. These three groups are destroying US for the almighty dollar which is of course, our hard earned dollars. Without our dollars these empires will collaspe and so will our great society. America is a human chain. What you do to the least of US...
Douglas Mallette, former NASA subcontractor and systems engineer joins ZM Global to discuss his efforts to found a company dealing in next-gen farming to tangibly solve the world food issue. The aim of Cybernated Farm Systems (CFS) is to provide locally vertically grown fresh food using aquaponics. Saving space, using fewer resources and "doing more with less" is the key to global sustainable decentralized food production. Doug has als created the "SusPlus" Initiative, a free standard designed not only to be sustainable, but to encourage a sort of "reverse pollution", to leave the environment better than prior to deployment of an industrial or production operation.
Thunderclap campaign for CFS runs until April 11th! Support this project for free here: https://www.thunderclap.it/projects/9645-cybernated-farm-systems

Next week (02/17/14) my guests will be Barbra Pushies & Maridee Nelson, the creators & owners of the Yarnover Truck. The story behind this is great. They met in 2010 at a Tuesday night knitting group & became fast friends. One night at group, Maridee mentioned she was thinking about opening a yarn store. She had a name and a location all picked out, but the financial realities of a brick and mortar yarn store seemed overwhelming. During her weekly knitting class
