If you are on a healing journey, it is highly likely that the people around you are feeling unsettled. The most enlightening way to refer to these people is as our 'tribe'.
Our tribe can be defined as any group that we share an identity or invest our energy with, and there are many benefits to being a member. However belonging to a group of people with deeply embedded beliefs may be one of your biggest hurdles when it comes to transforming your life, as most tribes are in the business of survival and not evolution.
In this episode Austin and Jo talk about the influential role that our tribes play in every aspect of our lives and discuss the attributes of a healthy tribe. Austin also leads a tapping demonstration in this programme to help you connect with the courage it can sometimes take to become empowered when you are a member of a tribe.
Warning: Understanding and utilising the information contained in this programme could seriously IMPROVE your health!
Join Earl & Hannah in a discussion about the concept and importance of the modern day tribe. Humans have always been a being of tribe. Today, most of us have forgotten the importance of tribal living. Modern Tribes today include our immediate family, extended families, friends and co-workers. How we define our roles in each tribe, define our experience and what tribes we belong to! Are you a strong tribal member? Are you living in integrity? Are you giving enough time and energy to your tribe? Are you present? What choices can you make to become more centered and rooted in your tribe? What things can you put down in your life or cut away to strengthen your tribe and your human experience?
Hannah and Earl have created a life where they have aligned their inner core values with their outer physical world to create a space of integrity which is reflective of their root need for simplicity, family and balance. You can do this too with small tools, centered thoughts and everyday practice. Join us to share your thoughts on tribe, art, family, homesteading and living the simple but very good life!
Join Carolyn Bennett Sullivan as she speaks with Carissa Hannigan from Rebelle Roadmap Tribe. Carissa created Rebelle Roadmap with the mission to empower women in finding their passion, voice, leadership and courage through community. Her coaching experience started with creating and managing an indoor soccer team in college. The current coaching schools didn't yet exist so she made her own coaching program within her psychology degree. Eventually the majority of the women were offered non-compete scholarships to the first women's NCAA soccer team at the University of Oklahoma. For her recruiting and coaching efforts, the university granted her a scholarship to complete her studies. Later, in her first ever tennis tournament final match, she coached her playing partner through a complete meltdown of the nerves to come from behind in dramatic fashion.
Part mad scientist, Carissa experimented working with online and local San Francisco Bay Area clients in a number of niches over the years, including website design, marketing and advertising, professional organizing and much more. She also has training in community creation, dynamics and leadership. In 2011, she taught a Motivational Life and Business Coaching program at API Wellness in San Francisco. In 2012, she co-lead Skillshare Business Coaching classes on Social Media, Branding, Marketing, Messaging and more at Wix Lounge SF.
"My uncommon approach to live, love and business is for the outside the box thinkers, dreamers, intuitives, and all those who want to have true freedom…to experiment, create, explore, go on adventures, be expressive, and have a home to share these experiences. Someone who understands, who gets you. Now I put my creativity and humor into making Rebelle Roadmap Tribe a fun playground for delving into your dreams."

The nation of Israel grieved for Benjamin their brother and for the fact that a tribe is cut off from Israel. They went on a search for members of the tribe who who survived. Then they did a sort of 7 Brides for 7 Brothers scenario and stole daughters of Shiloh who come out from vineyards to do dances so that they could marry the men of the tribe of Benjamin whose wives had been killed in the slaughter of Gibeah.

Award-winning author Trice Hickman will join our host for a candid interview about how she discovered her love for writing which led to starting her own publishing company. Breif bio: I grew up on the eastern coast of North Carolina; the middle child of two of the best parents on earth! I was a precocious kid, the one who always asked, “Why?” I loved reading books because they were the perfect escape from my small hometown. I’d meet interesting people and travel to exciting places, all without leaving the Michael Jackson (rest in peace) covered walls of my bedroom. During my undergraduate years at Winston-Salem State University, (Go RAMS!) I continued my love affair with books. I even fantasized about writing a novel, envisioning myself at the top of the New York Times Bestsellers List. But upon graduation, and with the next month’s rent looming, I put that dream on hold and chose a more practical route…getting a 9 to 5 to pay the bills!
