Mary Edwards is a composer, songwriter and sound artist whose projects range from recordings and performances "evocative of epic cinematic soundtracks combined with lyrical intimacy..." (Time Out NY), to immersive environmental and architectural sound installations. Themes of temporality, impermanence, nostalgia, longing, childhood and the natural world are interspersed throughout her work. Her extended discographyincludes the solo releases, A Smile in the Mind (2007), Console (2010),Eastern/Central & Mountain/Pacific (2012), and Everyday Until Tomorrow(2015), where she captures the essence of Modernism, '60s film scores and classic pop, thinking in terms of miniature movies (to paraphrase Burt Bacharach) to create pocket symphonies and an indelible, sprawling landscape of sound.

C Sharp was born in Welkom, South Africa and grew up in Soweto. Began singing at the tender age of 4 in church.
C Sharp has worked with numerous musicians as a backing vocalist. His late grandfather inspired him to follow music; he once said to him “whenever you feel discouraged sing a song it will lift your spirit”. He is the one who came up with the name “C Sharp” because his voice was like pure music. He (C Sharp) never understood what he meant until one day he lost his favorite pen, which his grandfather had bought for him as gift. Being upset, he said to him sing a song. He was given a new meaning to the power and effect of the music.

Special Guest: Cameron "Young Jibwe" Monkman (Anishinabe), First Nations Rap Artist and Performer.

We know that when perpetrators are not held accountable, victims are a much higher risk for suicide, drug addiction and homelessness. Young people who are already at high risk are deeply traumatized when adults who purport to be community leaders and activists cause the harm, which becomes particularly relevant when youth flee our communities and become at risk for prostitution, trafficking, and prison. About 80% of individuals in prison have been victims of sexual or domestic violence."

Master of the stage, performer for the soul, Eric “EQ” Young is known for his ability to fire up concert crowds with his high-energy passionate vocals and funky bass beats. This consummate musician has a long history of opening for, playing with, and being signed by established names in the business. Today, EQ confirms his place among the constellation of great Bay Area funk stars with the early release of 8 songs from his upcoming CD, “Just 4 You.”

Getting his hands on his first guitar at the age of 8—a gift from his grandfather, that had only three strings, Eric Young taught himself to play by ear. Imitating Sly Stone’s mixture of sound and tight arrangements on that misfit instrument ended up opening a life path to world stages.

Other radio stars of the period had a strong influence on his style, including Larry Graham, leading Young to switch to learning bass and studying music composition. Growing up in the Northern California Bay Area gave Young easy access to live performances of Tower of Power, Sly Stone, Frankie Beverly and Maze, Whispers, The Escovedos, Santana, Pointer Sisters. Their example put pressure on the aspiring star to master his instrument and showmanship, solidifying his vision of becoming a complete entertainer. While bands he auditioned for continued to turn him down, their rejections only fueled his ambition. So deep was his desire to be a performer, only at the request—and belt—of his mother did he finish high school.
