Kevin Pratt Family Our Guest On Play Book Talk Radio
Tamyra D. Brown was born in partially raised in Northern Virginia and she moved, with her parents to Dickson, TN where she finished my formal schooling.
Education has always been a part of my life. Her mother Sallie Bradby is a retired school teacher of over 30 years. Her back ground varies from Special education, elementary education, and college educator. Her father Dennis, now retired, was employed with the correctional system for over 30 years in multiple capacities such as, warden, principal, faith based ministries, and other inmate programs.
After graduating high school, she attended MTSU and majored in education with a minor in dance. Upon graduating, Tamyra went on to pursue a Masters degree in education with a concentration in Administration and Supervision. She has taught at all age levels and environments.
While I worked for a private consulting agency, she traveled to many schools ( private, public, preschools, etc..) While visiting the preschools, it hit Tamyra how there was an urgent need for a clean, safe, loving, faith based childcare center. She took a leap and trusted in faith and decided to open a preschool. After many trials, tribulations, tears, and learning experiences, she got it right! Tamrya has had so much help from her family, her current director, Saundra Duffield, who has been with her since the beginning, and none of it would have been possible without our Father God. Just over 1 year of opening All God's Children Early Learning Academy and we have a waiting list until next January for infants and all of our other classrooms are full with a waiting list.
Tamrya excited to see the children's faces everyday and we have a wonderful faculty and staff that make my "job" worth while.
I interview a dynamic team of brothers who run a STEM education franchise: Professor Egghead Science Academy. Learn what it takes to operate a franchise that solves a problem in education, and why a franchise model works for them.

Ready for this tagline? "We guard the nest of the world." Mommy Greenest is rapidly becoming THE resource for healthier parenting with less judgment - because the founder and our guest, Rachel, believes you shouldn't have to be a scientist to raise healthy kids. Rachel brings quite a bit to the credibility table in this arena. She is the former CEO of Healthy Child Healthy World, was editor of Children magazine and then had three children of her own. She who does not sleep is also the designer of Bird in Hand upcycled accessories and author of The Big List of Things That Suck. Rachel was featured in Los Angeles and Lucky magazines and has appeared on "The Today Show" and "CNN Headline News," among others. Rachel is actually a repeat guest and I am proud to interview her about her finest role ever - so far. This show sponsored by Goodwill Industries of Southern Arizona.
