The Boy Scouts’ Motto is Be Prepared! But what could have possibly prepared eleven, twelve and even fifteen year olds for encounters with sexual predators? Especially when the same predators were suppose to teach these children high moral values. There are hundreds of accounts of these sexual molestation cases contained in what is termed the “Perversion Files” or "ineligible volunteer files". According to the Scouts these files were meant to be a “buffer” to prevent the predators from re-entering scouting. Unfortunately there have been numerous failures. After analyzing the files it was determined that in many instances sexual deviants were kicked out of the Scouts only to be allowed back in at a different location and sometimes under a different name. The stories are horrendous! The stories tell in somewhat explicit detail of boys being subjected to nudity, being fondled and raped by their Scout Masters. Keep in mind these are children. Keep in mind the Boy Scouts’ motto, “Be Prepared”. Be prepared for what and by whom?
Certainly, it would have been wonderful if these boys were prepared in some foolproof manner for these encounters with immoral predators. But who would have prepared them? The Boy Scouts? With their history, how likely would that be? And how would they have been prepared? These are just some of the questions we’ll seek to gain answers to through the Holy Scriptures in this program.
We air programs on Blog Talk Radio at the following times: Sun 2:00pm, Mon 8:00pm, Tue 8:00pm, Wed 7:00pm, Thu 8:00pm, Fri 7:00pm & Sat 9:00am. All times are Eastern Standard Time.
We have a tendency to wait until the last minute to do anything. And we can usually pull it off at the last minute for most things. However, there are some cases where this just won't work, and being prepared to feed and defend yourself and your loved ones is ne of those cases.
Don't wait until the last minute to begin your preps. Tonight we talk about getting started and and learning to develop a "Prepping Lifestyle" rather than a plan to rush to the grocery store at the lasts minute to find bae shelves.
Please call in with your suggestions of how to gently nudge folks in the direction of squaring away their preps and what you do to keep yours up, and any current good deals on supplies and gear.
Call in number is 347-308-8790
Hope to see you there!
Welcome to Spiritual Pathways! Whether this is your first time with me or if you have heard me speak before as Pastor/Reverend Daniel or online as Rivan Elan its great to have you with me. Today is an introductory show where I will briefly cover the type of things we will talk about, how YOU can contribute to the show schedule, and what the future may hold for each of us. I am a minister and a mystic and a reiki practitioner but in the past I have been a Drill Sergeant, Cavalry Scout/Recon, Intelligence Agent, and worked for Homeland Security. All together I have had and am having an interesting life and I enjoy sharing my time and energy with you so that your life can be filled with success, joy, health, and never-ending discovery of the wonderful life God has waiting for you. Join me and we'll watch it unfold together and see where it goes!
Dr. Cathy Reimers, Ph.D., psychologist in New Jersey, and co-host Jennifer Russello, parent in New Jersey, continue the tough discussion on predators looking to exploit and sexually abuse our children, specifically predators in the child’s own family committing “incest”. On our last show, we talked about the recent horrendous reports of children being abused and exploited by those in authority; teachers, coaches, priests, Scout leaders, even police officers. Today we are going to talk about how more than half of all children who are sexually abused are abused by a parent or other relative. Incest, or “familial abuse” is occurring at an increasingly shocking rate more than most people could imagine. Families have become experts at keeping such secrets. Join us to discuss how to recognize the signs of incest, how to protect our children, and how to help those who have been abused come forward. A predator may be living in your home and it’s time that you know.

As Memphis recovers from a bout of Vinsanity, GBBLive covers the Grizzly events of the week and looks to how the Summer League results and Vince Carter signings impact the Memphis Grizzlies moving forward.
In the first segment known as "Grizzly Bear News" Grizzly Bear Blues Managing Editor Chris Faulkner and GBB writer Trisity Miller join Host Joe Mullinax to talk about the week that was for GBB. Some great articles were written this week discussing a variety of topics, and you can be sure that Vince Carter becoming a Memphis Grizzly (and Lionel Hollins' latest media issues) will be discussed in addition to how will the wing minutes be divided up, who will play best together and is there another move on the horizon for the Grizzlies?
Finally, Memphis Grizzlies Assistant Coach and Advance Scout Jason March will come on the program. Coach March coached the Memphis Grizzlies Summer League team in their final two games, including the title game. He will no doubt provide great insight into the development of the Summer League Grizzlies and what can truly be taken away from the performances, both good and bad, in Orlando.

In his book Netwoking with Millionaires, Author Thomas J. Stanley suggests several strategies that top networkers employ to really make things happen. In a recent training session with Mr. Marvin "Coach" Powell of Coach Powell Training & Development. In this training session we talked on this subject and a word that he coined "Tagnet". To help others learn what to do and what to do. If you want to become a better networker and exhibit the style and finesee of a Tagnet. Networking is a natural and/or learned skill everyone can get better at it if they choose to do so. They just have to be willing and open to learn.
Many of those who believe that they are good networkers are Wrong.
We talked about Tagent its meaning and the areas of:
The Strategist, The Promoter, The Influncer, The Talent scout, The Advocate and the Mentor.
This is my overview and verison of this topic.
