....been with hundreds of folks as they pass from this life. I'm concerned that most of us are not prepared for the death of a loved one that happens at home. Tonight I thought you might find it interesting to hear my perspectives on preparing to care for those who are dying in your home. In fact, my mother is in process of leaving this life now. I will be by her side as I tell you some things I've learned as I sit with her as her body shuts itself down slowly in preparation to die. So...you get to share a few minutes with me as i help her through this time. It is my hope, this will help someone.

At age 50, Marion Woodman changed her life. She quit her job as a high school English teacher, went to Zurich and trained to be an analyst. Woodman is a Jungian analyst, teacher, and a prolific author of analytical and feminine psychology. Her books include The Owl Was a Baker's Daughter; Addiction to Perfection; The Pregnant Virgin and Leaving My Father’s House. She's also written an account of her recovery from cancer, Bone: Dying Into Life. ?? Woodman has released a CD entitled Crown of Age. This "crown", Woodman says, symbolizes the culmination of one's internal and external development as human beings. And only a lifetime of experience confers the crown. I know that Marion has that lifetime of experience and she wears the crown very elegantly.
Dying is a subject that makes us cringe, gives us chills and keeps us scared. The fascination with death fills our movies, media and news. We hear about dying so much, we spend our lives avoiding dying and left no room for living.
But what is dying? What truly dies? How can we overcome the fear of dying and face the courage of living?
Questions for today...
1. Why we associate dying with fear?
2. How has that fear of dying shaped our lives?
3. What does Christ speak about why we die?
Nadia saw Christ 12 years ago and the information, learnings, teachings and truths bring to light your soul and your purpose. A conscious life transitions into a conscious death. End-of-life Midwife, Margy Henderson, will share her experiences of supporting those who are dying. Margy will also tell us about bringing back the tradition of home funerals and explain the benefits of green burials and singing at bedsides.
Later in the show, Veronica will channel Eloheim to allow Margy to ask questions and get Eloheim’s insight on death and dying.
Margy Henderson is comfortable with death, her own and those she witnesses. She extends her death-midwifery past the careful tending of her friends' last weeks and offers families the age-old skills of continuing that care after death. Home wakes ease the grieving process. Green burial comforts those of us who trust the body's natural gift back to earth.
