Miracles and Atonement Meaning Chapter 1 Text of A Course in Miracles

    in Self Help

Are miracles rare and unnatural occurrences? Where do they come from and what do they mean? Is there a relationship between the miracle, forgiveness and Atonement? Why do miracles play such a vital role in the undoing of the illusion of our ego/body identification?

A Course in Miracles says that miracles are natural and healing and when they do not occur something has gone wrong. It also says they are everyone’s right but purification is first necessary.

“Miracles honor you because you are loveable. They dispel illusions about yourself and perceive the light in you. They thus atone for your errors by freeing you from your nightmares.” Pg. 5 Text.

Join with Eloisa Ramos as we explore the principles of miracles, time, revelation, and the Atonement definition from the first half of Chapter 1 of A Course in Miracles.

Today we seek to understand the purpose and meaning of miracles and our part in what ACIM calls the Atonement.

“When you have been restored to the recognition of your original state, you naturally become part of the Atonement yourself. As you share my unwillingness to accept error in yourself and others, you must join the great crusade to correct it; listen to my voice, learn to undo error and act to correct it. The power to work miracles belongs to you…Doing them will bring conviction in the ability…The ability is the potential, the achievement is its expression, and the Atonement, which is the natural profession of the children of God, is the purpose.” Pg. 9 Text.

Talk with Tenney: Special: Reading Text of Murphy Bill HR2646 Part 2

    in Current Events

HR2646 introduced by Congressmen Tim Murphy and Eddie Bernice Johnson must be stopped.

This is a continuation of reading the bill in its entirety without commentary (to the best of my ability).  I will start on page 90.  You can hear the bill read from the begining through page 89 at www.blogtalkradio.com/talkwithtenney/2015/06/06/talk-with-tenney-special-reading-text-of-murphy-bill

Congressman Tim Murphy's arrogance last year was shown up when Nancy Jensen replied that she had in fact read the whole bill which she was there to testify against. (see video here: https://vimeo.com/90899113)

Like Nancy Jensen, we must be informed.  In this episode will read the 173 page bill without commentary. This may require more than one episode. Only time will tell.

Talk with Tenney will host multiple shows for commentary in the future.

You can read along with me.  http://murphy.house.gov/uploads/MURPPT_015_xml.pdfl

    Cell Phone Road Rage

    in Entertainment

Are you annoyed with Drivers that focus more on their CELL PHONES  than ON THE ROAD? Do you think that Drivers should recieve STIFFER Penalties when cell phone usage results in injury/ fatality? Unfortunately ONE text message/phone call can be the difference between Life & Death. Many people, including Law Enforcement, continue to violate the Cell Phone laws on a daily basis. Below are several statistics about  "Driver Distractions" and the effect that it has on others. After reading the entirety of the facts listed below, YOU be the Judge.

The United States Department of Transportation notes that cell phones are involved in 1.6 million auto crashes each year that cause a half million injuries and take 6,000 lives.
According to FocusDriven®, up to 80% of all crashes involve some form of driver distraction.
During any point of the day, 11% of drivers are talking on their cell phones, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
A study from the University of Utah indicated that the reaction time of a teen driver using a cell phone is the same as that of a 70-year-old driver who is not using a cell phone.
According to the Virginia Tech Transportation Institute, texting while driving is six times more likely to cause an auto crash than driving when intoxicated.
The Virginia Tech Transportation Institute installed cameras on dashboards inside truck cabs. From the video footage, on average it took five seconds with their eyes off the road when driver's experienced distractions. The distance covered in five seconds of driving at 55 mph is equivalent to the length of a football field.
