September 11th, 2014 marks an anniversary of the day the world watched the United States of America tend to an act of terror on it's own soil. According to New York News & Politics, it's estimated that over 10,000 children lost their parents on September 11, 2001. Imagine learning your parents are dead due to a suicide bomber!
Imagine learning your parents consider you dead to them (upon learning you identify as gay or lesbian). Daniel Ashley Pierce's parents said just about as much in this (now viral) video.
A recent Rolling Stones article: The Forsaken: A Rising Number of Homeless Gay Teens Are Being Cast Out by Religious Families offers us a critical look at the terror some parents strike in the hearts of their kids when they learn of their sexual orientation.
In this episode, we'll talk about this terror with an expert who deals with youth who face homelessness due to a variety of factors, including coming out.
Meet Raquel (Rocki) Simões, Program Manager for Avenues for Homeless Youth in Minneapolis MN. She manages the GLBT Host Home Program. Rocki invites us to explore deeper aspects of youth homelessness briefly outlined in her blog-post on VillageQ.
Gennady “GGG” Golovkin took on Marco Antonio Rubio Saturday night and the Stub Hub Center in Carson California and it was business as usual for Golovkin.
The Kazakh knockout machine extended his consecutive KO streak to 18 stopping Rubio in the second round. Golovkin was simply too much for Rubio from the opening bell. In the first round Golovkin was already landing power punches that had tremendous effect on Rubio.
Many boxing fans were perhaps rightly more excited for the co-feature in the Barclay’s Center Saturday night than they were for the “Triple G” mismatch that followed, as the established Nonito Donaire (33-2, 21 KOs) went up against the hungry up-and-coming star, Nicholas Walters (24-0, 20 KOs).
Although this fight was looked upon as a 50/50 fight, there were still many who picked Donaire, feeling that Walter”s record was somewhat padded and because he had never gone a full twelve rounds, that he would be exposed by the experienced and durable Filipino. On the flip-side however, there were of course question marks surrounding the 31-year old Donaire. How much did he really have left? He hadn’t looked the same since being badly defeated on points last April by the great Cuban Guillermo Rigondeaux. There were rumors that he had been getting beaten beaten up in sparring.
Please join us this episode for an extremely important dialogue and community forum regarding the state of police terror within communities of color. In light of the recent barbaric police murder of 18-year-old Mike Brown in Ferguson, MO, this forum is as important as it ever has been. You are encouraged to tune in, call in with your thoughts, perspectives and ideas on how we can (collectively) stop police brutality. However the brutal truth remains that state sponsored police terror of African/black people has been consistent for centuries. This is nothing short of human rights epidemic that MUST be STOPPED. Protesting and rallying is important, however we also must organize toward radically changing this nefarious system into something that respects human life. There must be policy change in order to save lives. There must be radical change in the nature of policing within the United States.
6.8 magnitude earthquake slams Japan; Washington, D.C.'s National Cathedral "fundamentally transformed" into the National Mosque, complete with Sharia enforcers; Obama lies, Gruber brags, ObamaCare craters; Senate Democrats kill Keystone Pipeline bill, Mary Landrieu's political career, and U.S. economy, all in one swift, efficient blow; Here comes global cooling, thanks to that big, dimming light in the sky; Obama's next tyrannical decree will be gun confiscation; New Black Panthers plot to terrorize St. Louis, Missouri; and the fallout (appropo metaphor, isn't it?) from a little Thursday evening White House speech you might have heard about.
Can you believe in America there is such a thing call SYSEMATIC ABUSE, where Court Officials and Attorney are aware of the following statues, BUT THEY TURN THEIR FACES AND IGNORE THEIR JUDICIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND OATHS.

"To us in America, the reflections of Armistice Day will be filled with solemn pride in the heroism of those who died in the country's service and with gratitude for the victory, both because of the thing from which it has freed us and because of the opportunity it has given America to show her sympathy with peace and justice in the councils of the nations."

Alright so I'm attempting to get back into the groove of a news show on saturdays. Attempting to being the key. So here goes. Governor Rick Perry of Texas is being indicted on charges of abuse of power. Something about him being a Republican and vetoing something for a Democrat. Same ole song and dance, cry me a fucking river. The U.S. has sent more "advisors" to Iraq while ISIS continues to terrorize entire towns. Ferguson is a boiling shitstorm of tension. Thats going to prove to be interesting in the coming months.
Tonite (8.18.2014) we covered:
The occupation of America by the militarized terrorist cells (police depts) and the insanity of S.W.A.T. The stats on terrorist (cop) shootings of civilians resulting in a death is about 400 per year. 42% are white 32% are black 20% are brown 6% Asian. The rioters in Ferguson are outsiders. jesse jackson and al sharpton are hogging the media spotlight as usual.
Big Brother media is using the unfortunate incident in Ferguson MO to increase racial strife in America and give terrorist groups (police depts) incentive to obtain and use military weapons to terrorize the public. SWAT was created in 1964 in Philly and expanded in 1967 in L.A. by inspector daryl gates who later became chief of the LAPD. He called it Special Weapons Assault Team, but his bodd Ed Davis changed it to Special Weapons and Tactics because it sounded to military like. The first use of SWAT was in northern California to deal with Cesar Chavez who led protests by farm workers.
Hunger in America. 15% are "food insecure" and 6% have "very low food security." 20% of veterans and 25% active military.
The Gaza Genocide resulting in more than 2,000 INNOCENT civilians being deliberately murdered by the Khazar TERRORISTS.
ISIS continues to murder hundreds of INNOCENT civilians. while barry soetoro of Kenya lobs a few bombs on them slowing them down slightly.
