Flue Fire and Dumpster Fire in Winter
Just because it starts to rain and snow, does not mean Fire Season is over. Fire danger is year round. Not maintaining a woodstove or fireplace flu is a potential fire danger. An act of carelessness, like dumping fireplace or wood stove ashes into a synthetic dumpster can have serious consequences. I have been witness to both accounts, and have seen the damage.
