Dr. Ashkan Ghavami - Plastic Surgeon
Until recently, very dramatic size and shape modification in facial features and body contour via plastic surgery was considered desirable, sexy, and the sort of "the norm." As usual, iconic Hollywood celebrities lead the way in what is desirable. However, changing noses and facial features that do not reflect the ethnic heritage or having breast augmentation and other body surgery that is obvious and out of proportion distorts our vision of beauty! Now for 2013, new surgical advances combined with changing consumer demand, are redefining the word Beautiful and making it blend with the word "natural." The idea is to keep everyone guessing, "did she or didn't she?" rather than "what did she do to herself?" Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Ashkan Ghavami, an internationally recognized authority on various aspects of plastic surgery predicts will join us today to discuss the latest teniques.
