Style with Trysh ~ Secsi Lashes

    in Entertainment

We FINALLY get a chance to learn about the art of Mink Lash Extension from today's guest. Mink Lashes and the process.... They're applied strand by strand or shall I say one lash at a time not like the individuals where there's a cluster of 5 lashes and you put that on one lash which cause your lashes to get damaged by the weight of the clusters. With the mink lashes it's pretty much one long extension added to one of your lashes, it's very meticulous but the end result is Viola! They're more natural looking, not heavy, very light and airy. The lashes are waterproof and you no longer need mascara.  The process can take up to around 2 hours, but it goes fast. Just take a quick nap and you'll be fine. The strips can also be damaging because they tend to use the same glue that they use for the individuals.  The mink lash glue is different. Also another plus with mink lashes is that they fall off with your natural lash cycle so it's pretty much damage free to your natural lashes. They last 3-4 weeks before you would need another fill.

Style wit Trysh ~ DeAndre Riley

    in Entertainment

Everybody has something to say—but not everyone makes an impact with their words. DeAndre Riley, also known as D.R. Speaks, is a multi-faceted force in and out of the four walls of the church. After suffering the loss of both biological parents at a young age, D.R. Speaks made poor decisions that could have destroyed his future. Instead of allowing those things to defeat him, he used them as stepping stones to his unmerited success. As a minister, motivational speaker and author, he seeks to deposit a simple, yet profound principle in the lives of those he may come in contact with: inspire, inform, instruct, and impact.

As the founder of D.R. Speaks Enterprises, he provides motivational speaking and consulting to ministries, organizations, business professionals and corporations. His sole belief that words are the greatest tool given to mankind to aid them in living the life they are destined to live has opened numerous doors of opportunity. D.R. Speaks can be heard weekly on his radio show, “I’ve Got Something to Say.”. This weekly power-packed show inspires others to press past their failures, embrace the future, dream bigger and reach their full potential—then encourage someone else to do the same. www.DRspeaks.org

Style with Trysh ~ Latrice Pace

    in Entertainment

Born into Atlanta's First Family of Gospel, Latrice was destined to venture into the ministry of music. Having nine siblings to precede her, all artist in the Gospel Industry, she felt it was necessary to create a path of her own. Latrice discovered her passion for acting and began to travel with various theatrical productions.

"I was born into the business; and to be honest, I wanted nothing to do with music. I felt everybody in the family was already doing it so I needed to do something different.  However, my daddy made sure I knew that Gospel music was a family ministry and there was no such thing as “doing something different”.  Once I graduated from high school I began to sing in the group with my sisters.  Shortly thereafter I began to travel with my oldest sister, Shun, as her assistant/road manager.  I believe serving her for years opened so many other doors to work with various artist as well as the arts.

I’ve been in the music industry for 20 years and in the arts (Urban Theater) for about 15 years.  I learned early on that I was my own walking/traveling business. So with my experience along with the influence of my mentor Donald Lawrence, I’m learning that it’s not just about having a professional image before people, but it’s important that every aspect of you, your life, your business – be legitimate and professional.  I also have future aspirations to mount my own theatrical production, but during this chapter of my life, L. Pace Entertainment, LLC is about being smart in this business of music.  I don’t want to do what I do out of necessity, but simply because I love to do it.
