Prophetic Implications for the Remnant pt 2| shabb-061413-korah2
Prophetic Implications for the Remnant wraps up our study of Korahs rebellion. We begin at Korahs Rebellion having ended. We find that it is over, all except the continued rebellion and murmuring of the rest of Israel. It is here we find that the Prophetic aspect of this is for the Remnant believer to learn the lessons of a stubborn people in conflict with Gods purpose.” This has much for the believers today and with a warning. We take much for granted and many do not listen. As with Korah, involved are sin’s that both separate and make a people unclean. For American Christians, though, the lessons will be both tough and detrimental to their lives. Do not miss this wrap up of Korahs Rebellion and how to prepare for what comes and why!
But on the morrow all the congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron, saying, Ye have killed the people of the LORD. Num 16:41
And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a censer, and put fire therein from off the altar, and put on incense, and go quickly unto the congregation, and make an atonement for them: for there is wrath gone out from the LORD; the plague is begun. Num 16:46
And Aaron took as Moses commanded, and ran into the midst of the congregation; and, behold, the plague was begun among the people: and he put on incense, and made an atonement for the people. Num 16:47

"Never tell people how to do things. Tell them what to do and they will surprise you with their ingenuity." --George S. Patton
Even though General Patton (think WWII) was considered a stubborn, hard-ass of a leader, he certainly had the right ideas about getting people motivated and innovative to take ownership over their development. Today, even the toughest of leaders are encouraged to show their softer, open side -- and they're the ones win the hearts and minds. When leaders are more open, harmonious and connected to those they lead, even the most mundane of tasks are also executed with harmony between all parties regardless of rank. This kind of leadership generates higher levels of engagement, productivity and business results. Join #TChat co-creators and hosts Meghan M. Biro and Kevin W. Grossman welcome this week's guest, Dan Pontefract, Senior Director, Learning & Collaboration at Telus and author of Flat Army: Creating a Connected and Engaged Organization. This will be another great "open leadership" show, so we hope to see you here! **SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: We’re thrilled to announce our first “world of work” partnership — with Achievers. Tags: historical fiction genealogy prekudice discrimination William Penn
Jenny D. Beard's Higher Up The Mountain draws details from her family's genealogy, from personal memories of her grandfather's farm and from her own passion for living in the country and in small towns.
A powerful folksy saga chronicling several generations of the Balmer family. Escaping terror in Switzerland, the Balmers flee to Holland where William Penn invites them to find freedom in the new world. Charismatic Fritz Balmer leads 105 colonists into the harsh wilderness of 1715's Pennsylvania.
Upon settling, Fritz's wife, Olga, is shocked to find Aprilmay, a frantic young slave. Fritz's younger brother, Wilhelm, learns to his disheartenment that stubborn Moravian elders have promised the girl of his dreams to a vicious man whose wife has drowned under mysterious circumstances.
Ninety-eight years later, in 1833, young Frederick Balmer makes a life changing voyage to Connecticut. Obsessed with finding property, he travels to the Western Reserve in Ohio. Frederick's broken-hearted son, Isaac, carries on the Balmer family farming traditions. Isaac's daughter, close-minded Esther Balmer, grows up without a clue about marital relations until marrying and shocking her new husband on their wedding night.

This week's guest is author, Martin Boyd. Martin wrote a very inspirational novel called Papalotero. Here's what it's about.
"Teresa Jones’s dreams of flying contrast sharply with her dreary, earthbound life working as a filing-clerk in a CD store, and suffering the constant nagging of her academic parents, who are outraged at her stubborn refusal to go to college. Her best friend – the popular, successful and apparently happy college freshman Elena Kravchuk – has the perfect prescription for Teresa’s depression: she needs to get laid. When the two girls meet Miguel Angel Ramirez, a misfit Mexican immigrant who builds and flies kites for a living, Elena goes to work as match-maker to bring him together for a casual fling with her socially awkward, chronically depressed best friend. But rather than providing a one night stand, this papalotero will transform the lives of both girls in ways that neither one bargained for: Elena will confront the truth that her life is not as perfect as she so desperately wants people to believe it is, while Teresa will be challenged to give up her low self-esteem and Life Sucks t-shirts, and discover that the happiness she thinks is out of her reach might actually be just one small leap of faith away."

What's REALLY Weighing You Down? Part II
by Your Health is in Your Hands in Health
Tags: Health Weight Loss Emotions Stress Trauma
Today, Dr. Joanna & Nick will be following up on the last two shows about Detoxification and Spring Cleaning by talking about how the emotions and stress affects our ability to lose weight.
Why is it that we can seemingly be doing all of the "right" things and still not be able to lose weight? So many times it has to do with all of the stress in our lives as well as not having processed emotional traumas and events and so they literally become added weight that we have to bear. In contrast, sometimes it is the presence of these unprocessed traumas or stresses that causes us to eat the wrong foods, soothe our emotions and feelings with food, or not have the motivation, or more accurately, inspiration, to exercise and take good care of ourselves. We think you will enjoy this lively discussion which will include tips and ideas to help you begin to release unprocessed emotions and feelings as well as that stubborn excess weight you have been carrying around. Remember it's not necessarily what you're eating, but what's eating you!
We really are talking about spring cleaning from the inside out!
Feel free to call in if you have a question for Joanna or Nick.
