Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos is part of (GRCAM) the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement which is an umbrella term which covers all of the social groups Mr. Emmanuel Barbee has created online since 1991. Emmanuel Barbee is trying to create a coalition based on his revised book “The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America” Second Edition. Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos is an online advocacy group to raise public awareness about the atrocities which is taken place in American ghettos or urban communities. Since Emmanuel lacks support from established black organizations in his city he decided to create social groups and promote his revised book in hopes to generating capital so that he can hire 30 qualified individuals to assist him in jump starting his organization in the murder capital of America Chicago.
Since 2001, over 4,000 people has been murdered in Chicago alone and yet no black leader in his city has a plan on how to solve urban violence. For twenty three years Emmanuel vision to improve Urban America has been ignored this is why he decided to make his organization private so that he can focus on those who want to work with him and for those who want and need his services. Through his organization he hopes to form a coalition of religious leaders and human rights organizations in the United States to solve these social conditions one community, one city, and one state at a time. He will only focus on 25 cities within 25 states. The Grass Roots Community Activist Movement will create a more effective and collective voice by including local residents who are clients or members in the decision making process and who are dedicated in preventing violence.

Tonight's special guest is Mary Romero from Richmond, Virginia, an abuse survivor and Life Coach who specialize in the areas of trauma and abuse. She has written an autobiography, entitled "The Breakdown of an All-American Family: an autobiography of child abuse domestic violence and recovery." She'll soon be coming out with a follow up book, "Repurposing Your Pain," meant to help survivors learn to become thrivers! Stemming from Mary's childhood filled with abuse and domestic violence, Mary started working with the juvenile population over twenty five years ago in an effort to help effect change after working in the legal field. Her dedication and determination to help stop abuses of children and adults alike has made her an expert in her field. Whether dealing with a difficult teenager, dealing with a child that a parent cannot reach or who's being bullied, "I am here to help," writes Mary. "I am a specialist in conflict resolution and communication skills as well as specializing in behaviorally challenged children. I work with local schools and colleges and present workshops to enable our youth to have the proper 'life skills' that are necessary in today's society." Her book, "The Breakdown of an All-American Family," is available through Amazon and through her website. The genuine and authentic nature of her writing stems from a past that allows her to connect with other victims and survivors of childhood trauma.
Rene and Donna Earley discuss the effects of the deaths of our family pets at the hands of the public servants who are meant to protect us. What can we do to stop it? What can we do once we are a victim to it? We can't bring our animal back, but we can use their death as a catalyst for change. We The People have to take back our space, property and lives. It CAN AND WILL HAVE TO BE DONE!! This information is good for any victim of a public servant.

Tonight's special guest is Barry Goldstein from Teaneck, NJ, a returning NAASCA family member who's an expert in Domestic Violence and issues of child abuse. Barry shares. "I was blessed with a happy and safe childhood, but I was the victim of retaliation by the NY Court system which suspended my law license for exposing an abusive judge in my efforts to protect a battered mother and her children." The co-chair of the child custody task force of the National Organization for Men Against Sexism, Barry does workshops and provides judicial and other trainings regarding domestic violence particularly related to custody issues. He's also the author of "Scared to Leave, Afraid to Stay," co-editor of "Domestic Violence Abuse and Child Custody" with Mo Therese Hannah and co-author with Elizabeth Liu of "Representing the Domestic Violence Survivor." His newest book is "The Quincy Solution: Stop Domestic Violence and Save $500 Billion," which would dramatically reduce DV crime and child abuse and save enormous sums of money. Barry will also talk about the Safe Child Act which he believes will be very interesting to our listeners, and about the ACE Study (Adverse Childhood Experiences) Research. It strongly supports prevention of child abuse and other child traumas, and definitively establishes that by the time they reach 18, one-quarter of our children have been sexually abused. WHY DO WE CHEAT ON YOUR WIFE?
WHY DO WE STEAL?
WHY DO WE QUIT OUR JOB?
WHY DO WE DO BAD BEHAVIOR? WHY?
NEXT QUESTION........HOW DO WE STOP DOING THE "BAD" BEHAVIOR
You know that you should exercise, and eat lots of veggies and less fried, salty and sweet foods.
But knowing something and actually doing it are two very different things.
You know you should stop procrastinating. You know you should watch less TV or go to social sites (or news sites, or your email program) less often. You know you should be writing, or learning that language you’ve always wanted to learn, or practicing guitar, or decluttering your house.
Knowing isn’t the problem. It’s the doing that gets us every time.

Tonight's special guest is Mike Pistorino from Cleveland, OH, a survivor of childhood sexual abuse who's now using his voice as a motivational speaker and advocate against child abuse and trauma. As a young child growing up in the Bronx, neglected by his parents, Mike was easy prey for a local predator, their neighbor. He was sexually abused for years, and for years he believed that the rapes he suffered were proof that he was "bad" - that there was nothing good or redeemable in him. Mike grew up an angry man, addicted to cocaine, sleeping in the streets and doing stints in jails and prisons. But he found within himself a spark, a long buried but still living source of hope and will. At age 28, with the help of the Daytop Village therapeutic community, and after several false starts, Mike broke the grip of his addiction. Freed from its clutches, he built a life. He met his wife, Cynthia, on a New York City subway and a year later they were married. As his oldest daughter reached the age at which he was abused, Mike found himself wrestling with his memories. He sought help from the Cleveland rape crisis center, overcame his fears, and began the real work of confronting the abuse he had suffered, and its legacies .. the self blame, the anger, the bone-deep belief that he did not deserve to be happy. Mike was finally able to tell someone about the abuse he had suffered. By facing his painful past, Mike was able to discover authentic joy and a purpose. Today, he is a successful businessman, devoted family man, fitness enthusiast, marathoner, and public speaker. He is passionate about sharing his story in order to empower survivors and stop the epidemic of child sexual abuse. Learn more about Mike: www.mikepistorino.com

SPECIAL TOPIC Night - "For Our Kids" - Deborah Maddison and Tracy Baxter, Canadian activists from British Columbia, will join Bill Murray to lead this evening's discussion about the Rights of Children and Families in North America. Tonight's TOPIC: We are supposed to believe children when they allege someone has been sexually inappropriate with them. In reality, however, it seems we are not listening. Are we as a society and with our institutions creating the child sexual abuse pandemic? What message are we really sending our children? Why aren't we protecting them? It is far easier to build a strong child than to try and fix a broken adult, but it seems we are doing just that. Join us as we speak with panelist Kelli Benis from Alberta, Canada, author of "Shredding the Same: Healing Childhood Abuse" and guests Angel Cook from Cleburn, Texas, and Ryan McKinnon from British Columbia, Canada, whose entire families have been through this nightmare and are still fighting to have their children heard and their trauma addressed. We will be discussing this very serious issue and what we can and must do to stop this pandemic and stop destroying the very children who are our future - all our futures. We know this is a tough topic, but it's one that desperately needs to be addressed. We can stop this pandemic. It's time we starting listening to our children. ~~ Every two weeks a new THEME will be presented in this series, with frequent special guests speaking from their own experience. ~~ Please see our web page at: www.NAASCA.org/ForOurKids or write to:firstname.lastname@example.org
