Singer/Songwriter Krista Earle has hit the Canadian and International Music Scene.
Her first single "Bad Hair Day" was released to Canadian National Radio followed by her single "Man Up" receiving heavy radio rotation across Canada. Krista has a very original sound, a powerhouse of a voice with a sweet tone. Her music is a unique blend of catchy country/pop/rock melodies.
Born in Toronto, Ontario, Krista has had a great passion for singing and performing from an early age, coming from a family whose talents were singing and playing numerous instruments. Krista has a solid track record in performance. Her musical journey began when she was contracted at the very early age of 14 to perform as a main stage Disney Performer for stage shows across Ontario which she continues do.
A numerous 1st place winner in Music Festivals, Vocal Competitions and Shows, performing at the CCMA’s Country Music Week, NSAI Tin Pan North, Canadian showcase in Nashville, including performing at the famous Bluebird Café, and Music Week in Toronto. Krista was a finalist in the International Songwriters Competition, and the recipient of the prestigious Government of Ontario Arts Award. Krista was represented in MIDEM at the International Music Festival in Cannes, France. She was also nominated in the Country Music Association of Ontario Awards for Female Artist, Single and Songwriter of the year (2013-2014) and currently is nominated for Female Artist, Single, Songwriter and Rising Star of the Year 2015 for her single "I'm Done." Her single also reached International attention, tracking on both European and Australian radio.

Nicholas welcomes Mondo Guerra, a designer and social influencer whose innovative style and bold prints have caught the fashion world’s imagination, while his truth and courage captured the hearts of fans around the world when he first revealed his HIV+ status on “Project Runway” (Season 8). He later went on to win the debut season of “Project Runway All Stars” and became an audience favorite as a mentor on Lifetime’s spinoff series, “Under The Gunn”. This evening I will interview and play the music of Shannon Gunn. She is a trombonist living in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area. Every Monday night, you can hear her perform with the Bohemian Caverns Jazz Orchestra. Likewise, you can hear her perform with her own all women jazz orchestra, Shannon Gunn and the Bullettes, in jazz venues around the Metropolitan Area. They know how to put the s in swing. Recognizing the jazz masters, she has done a retrospective of Blue Note recordings by Curtis Fuller and Hank Mobley. Some of the musicians that Shannon has played with are Billy Taylor, Rodney Whitaker, and Wycliffe Gordon. Join us this evening at Jazz Notes where jazz lives!
