World Kitchen Presents Wedding Day Radio: Rick Bisesto
Just when you thought you had a handle on all the elements necessary for a memorable post-I-do-bash, along comes Rick Bisesto to explain the many misconceptions of tenting—namely that it’s just this big white piece of canvas. “It depends on the vendor you use. They may only have one or two tents to choose from," the vice president of Stamford Tents tells Wedding Planning Radio host Jeannie Uyanik. “But others will have many. There are white-top tents, clear-top tents, different shape tents, and tents made from different types of fabric. There’s one called a ‘sail cloth’ tent, which is in fact made from a beige sail cloth, so the sun shines through it, giving everything inside a magical glow, like you might see in Nantucket just before sunset.”
