Uncle Mark, Brandon, and Sidekick are all "in the garage" getting ready for a full day or sports and lots of race chat. This is your chance to eaves-drop!
Can you believe this? Dale Jr. won as a non-Chase driver last weekend at Martinsville! Great for him, but I'm sure he would have preferred to have won it more the week before.
BUT, what does his unimportant win do to the remaining eight eligible drivers today at Texas Motor Speedway particularly ones like Kevin Harvick, Brad Keselowski, Carl Edwards, and Denny Hamlin? Is the biggest "X-factor" Ryan Newman who so many are referencing could win the Championship wihout ever winning a race? Could pit crews be more important than ever in these final three races of The Chase?
Beside the BIG Cup Championship race, the results from the Nationwide Series and Camping World Truck are also on the agenda, along with perhaps even a bit of NHRA as they're firing up the nitro out at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
They've got the coffee. You bring the donuts and bring enough for the guys parked right now over in the "Frat House Sports Garage" . . . oh, and be sure to give them a call at 347 - 826 - 9964!
Pleasure to meet you, allow me to introduce myself.... My name is JW Parvin. I guess it all started for me at a young age, when I was asked to join the church choir in my small hometown. Soon enough, I was asked to do solo's. I was very nervous at first, but soon my love for performing overtook my "jitters". I remember singing my mom's favorite hymn "O' Victory In Jesus". As I got older, I was always the boy in the mirror rehearsing with a hairbrush and belting it out with the radio. Later in high school, to my surprise, I was asked to lead some guys in a talent contest! We did a cover of George Strait....HAD A BLAST...but, did not win!!! Some of my favorite memories, are of having my friends over and singing along with the radio as if we were putting on a show. Growing up, my Mom and Dad had a place on a lake for years and in my teenage years I would sneak out to the bar and sing with the band. For me, there was nothing like the feel of being on stage in front of a crowd!!! I would get so caught up in the music that I would find myself on top of tables, doing my best to get the crowd involved and on their feet. I have to say... It worked well too. Eventually is discovered Karaoke contests and to my amazement, I won the second one i ever competed in. I really love to entertain. After winning several contest, I then put together a band and started doing live shows practically every weekend, and sometimes twice per weekend. The tremendous praise I receive from a great performance is so flattering to me even after all these years. I have quite a few loyal followers, who keep me inspired. To me there is no better feeling than putting life into words through my music. I guess thus far the highlight of performing for me was playing at the Talladega Super Sppedway for the campers and race fans. When you have thousands of music lovers singing with you and cheering you in it is beyond a natural high and there is no comparison. To take my talent to a higher platueau.
