Best known for playing the unconventional hero and fan favorite “Edgar Stiles” in Fox’s Emmy Award winning show “24” and FBI Agent “Skip Lipari” in the highly acclaimed HBO’s “The Sopranos,” Louis Lombardi is going back to his Italian roots and is launching his own gourmet Italian food line, “Lombardi’s,” consisting of pastas, sauces, olive oils and olives imported directly from Italy! In addition to the launch of Lombardi’s, Louie continues to steal the screen this Fall in RUNNER RUNNER, alongside Ben Affleck and Justin Timberlake as “Archie” the owner of the Sports Book and also joins the cast of TNT’s Frank Darabont Drama “Lost Angels” this fall with Milo Ventimiglia and Ed Burns as “Stucky” one of Mickey’s (Jeremy Luke) men.
Born and raised in the Bronx, Lombardi’s acting career took off after starring in the Sundance Film Festival’s Grand Jury Prize Nominee “Amongst Friends” directed by Rob Weiss which caught the attention of Academy Award winning director Oliver Stone who cast Lombardi in his next film NATURAL BORN KILLERS alongside Woody Harrelson, Robert Downey Jr, Tommy Lee Jones and Juliette Lewis. Other notable big screen films include Academy Award winner THE USUAL SUSPECTS alongside Benicio Del Toro, Kevin Spacey and Gabriel Byrne, cult classic SUICIDE KINGS with Denis Leary, Christopher Walken and Brad Garrett, and THE ANIMAL as Rob Schneider’s best friend. Louis’ love of food also inspired DOUGHBOYS, a film festival favorite starring Lombardi, Vincent Pastore, Andrew Keegan and Mike Starr about two Bronx brothers running the family bakery which was also and written and directed by Lombardi.

The King of DC Media, William Powell, welcomes City of Lost Souls director Jason Baustin, Altorro Prince Black and Bobby J. Brown to the Inside Acting radio show to talk about their tense crime drama.
Read my article about the show here: City of Lost Souls premieres at AFI Silver Theatre
CITY OF LOST SOULS is a tense, compelling crime drama that pulls the audience into an unforgettably, murky world. You can see the awards it's going to win.
The short film (some call it a TV pilot) premiered at the AFI Silver Theatre in Silver Spring, MD, Monday, November 10th. CITY OF LOST SOULS is the product of director Jason Baustin's Traveste Films. The film follows the life challenges of ex-con Mickey Wallace (Bobby J. Brown of THE WIRE fame) and his antagonist Assistant State's Attorney Roger Kenfield (the always excellent Altorro Prince Black).
The consensus of the audience at the premier was they wanted exploration and payoffs of the multiple, compelling storylines, which covered everything from legal horse-trading to political payoffs. The film felt like the pilot to a great TV series in the vein of BREAKING BAD or the SOPRANOS.
Yours truly, The King of DC Media, highly recommends it!
Host Robert Winfree welcomes back contributor Pat Mullin to Everyone Loves a Bad Guy. This week the epic countdown to the conclusion of Breaking Bad continues with a look back at one of the most influential and well done shows in TV history, The Sopranos.

Years from now, when critics look back on Dionne Audain’s career, they’re likely to dub her one of the greatest character actors of her generation. And not just in the black category. Nor in the female bin. But among all her screen peers. Because she’s not only got the natural talent, but hustles like nobody’s business to bring her A-game every time. “I don’t think it’s fair for me to sit back and say there are no roles for me as a black actress. I can wait to be cast, or I can create my own work,” Dionne—who has appeared in such hit shows as Orange Is the New Black and The Sopranos—tells us. “At the end of the day it's about what I put into it. If I’m not putting my all into it, I can’t expect to get what I want out of it.”
