WEBBWEAVER BOOKS PROUDLY PRESENTS: NANCY MEANS WRIGHT
When puppeteer Marion collapses during a performance of Sleeping Beauty, her friend Fay Hubbard will carry on. But Fay already has her hands full with three demanding foster children—Apple and Beets, who have a fractious jailbird father, and sixteen-year-old Chance, who has a crush on an older guy in a band called Ghouls. And now Marion’s husband Cedric seems more interested in a drop-dead-gorgeous French teacher than with any string puppets. And who is the mysterious Skull-man who warns of death if the show goes on with one of Marion’s offbeat endings? When an autopsy reveals that Marion had swallowed a dose of deadly crushed yew—and a friend finds her half-sister dangling from a rod like a marionette, a shocked Fay goes after the killers.

Stop Child Abuse Now (SCAN) - 570
Tonight's special guest is Melody Kaufman from Seattle, a survivor of childhood sexual abuse, physical violence, emotional traumas and neglect, much of it at the hands of her alcohol and drug influenced mother. Melody said the time had come in her recovery to tell her story in public for the first time. Born into poverty, Melody never knew her father, and was raised by a severely abusive single mother along with her four half siblings. The family survived on welfare. Melody writes, "Christmas time she would take away our gifts after she let us opened them and she would take them back to the store." She continues, "I can't remember the number of times my mother hit me. She used leather belts and wood paddles, often so hard I had deep red welt marks on my back or buttocks. She'd pull my hair and sock me in my mouth drawing blood from my lip." Melody was also neglected badly and was molested as a small child by a 65 year old man who was later arrested and imprisoned. But that was merely the beginning of the sexual assaults she was to endure. "My mother solicited me to prostitution at the age of 15. She had me sleep with men so she could get money to feed her drug and alcohol habit." Melody says, "I got so fed up I ran away from home 4 times, and I attempted suicide 5 times while living at home with my mom." She concludes, "I've isolated myself for 28 years to escape the abuse, and I had GOD with me watching and protecting me. I want to thank you so much for giving me this opportunity to share. I am not at all ashamed or scared of revealing the truth. Sharing the truth is better than carrying the burdens with me."

MUPPETS AND PUPPETS
On the day America thinks they are choosing a new leader, I challange them with a claim the president is not the leader but has bosses that are dark and shadowy. People with only one agenda, WORLD DOMINATION. I will use Election Day 2012 to expose the real leaders of America and the rest of the world.

EP 06 Chuck Dukowski of Black Flag/SST Records: PUNK IS DEAD
Anti-Social Commentary
Episode # 6
Our guest did not make it today, but some wacky shit did happen on the show anyway... Laura Feline Kat from Legal Weapon and Hugh Asnen of the Hi-Z's expressed their opinions about things...
As the founding member and bassist for Black Flag back in the day, Chuck Dukowski was the man behind epic songs such as: "My War," "What I See," "I've Heard It Before" and "Spray Paint"
Chuck was also co-owner of SST records until the late 90's. SST was the label behind album releases for bands such as Sonic Youth, Minutemen, Hüsker Dü, the Descendants, the Meat Puppets and many more influential bands. I'd say they were instrumental in many successes over the years.
We didn't get to talk to him today but planning on rescheduling this show. Stay tuned.
