In this episode we are bringing back a conversation from five years ago with Sam Vaknin, twice diagnosed narcissist and diagnosed sociopath.
Sam Vaknin, author of "Malignant Self Love - Narcissism Revisited" , a work of reference about the Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Join me as I interview Self Proclaimed Narcissist Sam Vaknin who is one of the leading authorities on Narcissistic Personality Disorder on the Web. We will talk to Sam about how he came to discover he had NPD and how he has used the knowledge and experienced he has gained to shed an inner light to the disorder for others to gain a greater understanding.
In my studies about Narcissistic Personality Disorder, Psychopathy, and Sociopathy I came across an insightful article written by Shannon Thomas, LCSW. It was interesting to start viewing this type of abuse from varying spiritual perspectives. I made a point of reaching out to Shannon to invite her on the show and share her wisdom with our providers.
Enjoy the entire blog article here.

Organic portals are said to comprise approximately half of the human population; the other half mostly consists of souled humans1. Here we define “soul” as the core of individualized consciousness that remains intact between successive incarnations.
While souled humans have a divine spark of consciousness that gives them the ability of individual self-awareness, OPs lack this divine spark and are only dimly conscious in comparison. They belong to an animal-like group soul that exists, evolves, and incarnates collectively rather than individually3. While each souled human has a relatively unique energy shaped by that person’s awareness, experience, and essence, the energy that animates one OP is the same animating any other.
However, there is another issue and that is, true esoteric work and knowledge can only be grasped and applied by a certain type of human and that another type of man does not posses this ability in his/her current life cycle.
One type has a soul, the other one is soul-less, so to speak. There is no difference on the outside and in terms of personality, but the inner life is vastly different. No one is better or worse than the other, but all are part of this evolutionary cycle. The idea of the soul is something that many religions, philosophers and spiritual teachings talk about.

LIFE – You don’t realize how good it is, until it is squeezed out of you.
One of the hardest things sometime a person can do is "forgive" themselves for mistakes they may have made. In the process of coming to a place of understanding why you missed the "red flags" and had a relationship with a person society has defined as a "sociopath" can be hard to accept.
However, it was not your FAULT.....remember that and UNDERSTAND, it was not your FAULT!
On the surface none of us want to be known as the person who was with a sociopath but it happens often.....very often as a matter of fact. It crosses all socio-economic backgrounds as well.
Join us as we discuss what it is like and why one might end up in a relationship with a "sociopath."

Control and destroy are the characteristics of the spirit of Jezebel. Jezebel must make Ahab’s out of their participants in their mind game that leaves a wave of destruction. Since Jezebel is a spirit it can manifest in both men and women. Leaders of business and government can be operating in this demonic operation also manifesting as a psychopath and or sociopath. Tonight we reveal this spirit and the others that work alongside it. If you operate in it repent now while you still can Revelation 2:20-23
Lady Taz and the panel examine the traits of a sociopath. With statistics that say that 1 of every 25 people walking around has the sociopathic traits--- maybe we need to be aware of the traits and dangers. When we hear the word "sociopath" we think of a killer but that is an extreme and not the norm. Listen in to this a continuation of "He is not who you think he is"

We often have such an activated nervous system in relationships where we don’t feel safe. We interpret that activated nervous system from abusive or neglectful relationships as excitement. Your draw to that person is a draw to excitement because excitement makes you feel alive.
In this episdoe of Pandora's Box, Kaleah talks about the dynamics behind our draw to the narcissist, sociopath or abuser in our lives, trauma bonds, the Stockholm Syndrome, and how we can truly heal and move forward into a healthy relationship with ourselves.
On this episode of Lifting the Veil we will discuss the basics of Narcissistic Personality Disorder and narcissistic abuse, and go in depth concerning red flags of a narcissistic relationship and how to deal with the trauma that many partners of narcissists go through. Phone lines will be open for listeners to share their own personal stories of narcissistic abuse and to ask questions and get answers regarding their own personal situations with the narcissist or sociopath in their life.

He has been a stuntman in the Long Island Produced "A Merry Little Christmas." He was in a fight scene playing a squid with an axe in "Cold Feet, Wet Dreams, and the Kitchen Sink."
Writing and BSing have always been a hobby for Drew. He likes to take the world of science and throw a monkey wrench into its thought process. He feels that nobody knows it "all", and loves to prove it. Teaching high school biology and forensic science for Syracuse University has proven more rewarding than lab work. This week, Shannon welcomes Dr. Anne Brown, PhD, RN. Brown worked as an Alcohol Clinical Specialist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and also served as the Program Director of the Outpatient Drug and Alcohol Program at Greater Cape Ann Human Services. She is a graduate of the University of Virginia, BS in Nursing; Boston University, MS in Psychiatric-Mental Health in Nursing; and International University, PhD in Addiction Studies.
Most of us know at least one individual suffering from an addiction, victimhood, or martyrdom. Dr. Brown explains how and why we must stand up to these masters of sabotage. Addiction touches the life of everyone who knows the addict, and people-pleasing behavior only enables the addiction. The message in her book, Backbone Power, is that we must act to address addiction by finding our blind spots and learning to speak eith authenticity and power. Brown has been described by one client as “having a very caring way of going for the jugular.”
