    women

    in Women

We women are the weavers of the social fabric of life. Love is the bottom line of our lives. Relationship is of prime importance to us. Yet, in our tormented world we are cut off from this core value and suffer in our relationships with our mates, children, friends, and work colleagues.  It is time to come together, drop our guard, reconnect in sacred sisterhood, acknowledge what we all share as common heritage as women and learn how to truly support ourselves and one another for our personal and planetary healing and transformation. By sharing our vulnerable truth and being witnessed by one another with compassion, empathy and care we can create the culture of love that is our birthright as women. Join Iris and Priya in intimate and open conversations about what we women face as we go through the unique portal after menopause into our sixties - the entrance into our wisdom years.

Women of Golf - with Donna Henrich - Owner of Woods to Wedges

    in Golf

Welcome to the Women of Golf Show!

Joining Cindy & I this week -  Donna Henrich - Owner of Woods to Wedges - Club Repair and Fitting Studio.

    Here's a little about Donna:

Donna has been in the golf business for over 40 years. Golf has not only been her career choice but a hobby as well. She began working, with her dad, Elma Meadows head professional John Henrich, as a golf shop assistant, doing everything from cleaning carts to running tournaments but always loved doing the club repairs. She was a member of the former PCS (Professional Clubmakers Society), and a Certified Class A Clubmaker. She has also helped to train PGA members in their club repair and fitting workshops, as well as taught clubmaking and fitting classes. She is a member of Tan Tara CC and The Fox Valley Club where, combined, she has held the Club Championship title 22 times.

In 1974 her family started Woods to Wedges a retail store, which was located in Clarence, NY, for club repair and custom clubs. In 1994 Woods to Wedges moved into the Wehrle Golf Dome, combining with Golf Headquarters to offer the most extensive retail facility, club repair and fitting center in the area. In 2014 they built a club fitting studio where they fit golfers of all levels utilizing the Trackman for their wood and iron fittings and the Sam Putt Lab for their putter fittings.

Women In Solutions - An Epiphany

    in Self Help

Welcome to Women In Solutions!  My name is Suzanne Marie and I am the host here.  For years I have wanted to help other women with whatever issues that they are having in their lives because there were and still are times in my life where I had problems and could not find solutions.  I struggled alot in the past with addiction of all kinds, sick relationships that were unhealthy and violent, running this way, running that way - never knowing who to turn to who I could trust, hitting brick walls, I believe that all of my issues have ceom from my childhood.  I believe we bring into our adulthood all the garbage that is still hanging onto us. It is time to bring about a solution now!  And, that is why I have created this radio show - just for that - for all women out there who would like to share their stories here and then working together to find solutions to help us find a better way of life - a life filled with peace, happiness some balance instead of the chaos that has surrounded so many of us in our lives.  I invited you to call in and share - you are able to remain anonymous if you so chose, this is a safe haven, a place of refreshment and upliftment!  It is hopefully a place to heal and become your true authentic self!

Why Do Smart, Successful & Independent Women Struggle With Their Love Lives?

    in Entertainment

Today, everyone is equal. Women have the same rights as men and are able to do what they please. It’s understandable that women have a hard time working on a construction site but why is it so hard for them to succeed in fields like business/politics? This happens because these “systems” have been built on the male mind.

In order for women to become successful and independent and to have high power jobs in business and politics they need to become, at least in the way they think, men. As hard as this may seem, many women manage to achieve this goal.

    The Downside

Because these women have tried so hard to fit into these male dominated fields, they have essentially lost their feminine side. This is fantastic for their careers but devastating for their love lives. No man will ever want to marry another man; he wants to marry a woman that has the qualities of a woman. Even if these qualities didn’t mean much to the average guy, he could still not handle the fact that his girlfriend/wife is more successful than him or makes more money.

Unfortunately, this is the major love-life struggle that smart, successful and independent women face today.
