Tonight we introduce recovery from alcohol use and sleep disturbances. We bring you the research and also discuss the importance of both cognitive and behavior based support and treatment if you are unablke to sleep through the night. Our show encourages taking the first step, to reach out to someone you can trust to tell your truth to. The second step is to seek medical consul to rule out a medical reason for your discomfort or lack of being able to relax. Finally accepting a referral to a mental health counselor or a psychiatrist can make all the difference in the world. In an emergency call 911.
