The artist Simon Koo was born in Macao. He came to Canada in 1970, and after completing high school in Kitchener, Ontario, attended the University of Ottawa, graduating in 1976 with a master's degree in mechanical engineering. Simon has been painting full-time for 20 years (since 1992).
Simon Koo has successfullly developed a style and technique of his own. Although he is an accomplished landscape painter, he has in the last few years concentrated on painting people. The reason is simple. Mr Koo thinks they are the most fascinating of subjects.
His philosophy of art is very simple; good artist or bad artist, in the end we all contribute to this really big picture which we call human experience. We should dream big but dare to fail.
Simon Koo has exhibited in most major art shows in the capital area in the last 13 years.

Our weekly program for and about the world of Bail Bonds. While at first glance you would think that Law Enforcement and the Bail Bonds world would be the best of friends, the Bonds Man deliveres the wanted bad guy to the jail. No donut break is interupted, the only pesky bit is the paperwork. Alas this nirvana is not reality. The Police and Bondsmen do clash. There are hundreds os stories, some humorous in retrospect, but not nearly so rib ticlkingly funny at the time when you are staring down the barrel of a gun.
Why is there this disconnect between the two groups, they share a common goal?
