Join us tonight for another round of School Dance Fancalls. At 7:15pm Eastern Standard Time we have Bobb'e J Thompson. Join us for some hilarious stories about the fans favorite part of the Nick Cannon Produced and Directed School Dance. Its the funniest movie of the year.
A pastor's daughter, Eliza Rickman learned to play the piano in church at age 13, and then discovered Nick Cave. Things went south from there - or north depending on your prespective - and now Rickman is a musical artist who is not exactly religious, although her most recent album, O, You Sinners, is laced with religious references. Controversial but honest themes pervade her music and her acts, which are often accompanied by a toy piano or an accordian or a grand piano in complex lyrical melodies. She is witty, sometimes profane, down to earth, always in tune and very, very talented. Her music is a joy to listen to and her lyrics make you think. There is nothing like her and you will be so happy you listen to her words and her music.
Cold Blood Club is a dark,8-piece band that sings like an indie rock love letter to New York City and puts a new spin on the electro dance/pop sound with an edgy blend of soul and rock influences. Inspired by life in New York and the likes of New Order, Depeche Mode, Broken Social Scene and The Flaming Lips, guitarist/songwriter Tom Stuart (Radio America) began writing songs for powerhouse singer Kendra Jones. What started as a small studio project quickly evolved into a collective of dynamic live musicians. After recruiting former bandmates Jesse Reno (Radio America) to play bass and Brad Peterson (Earlymay) to join on lead vocals, Cold Blood Club was soon joined by wunderkind drummer Shin Kamei (Angela Jane), flame haired violinist Hilary Davis (Bella Koshka) and Adina Benno on keys. The rest is history - and great music.
Tonight at 11pm ET/8 PT on Ernest Radio Network, it's Music Monday.
We are highlighting one of the most talented percussionists and musicians to come out the Bay area in years - Ms. Sheila E! Back in 1986, she released The Glamorous Club Dance EP, with four remixes of familiar and new songs. That's what you'll hear tonight. It's time to go back in time a little bit, and appreciate the fact that Ms. E. is still kicking today harder than ever!
Love On A Blue Train (Full Version)

Our guest this morning is Liliana Somma.
Liliana is the driving force behind the School of Dance. Hers is one of the most prominent success stories in the South Bay with one of the most successful dance studios in the state.
Originally from Italy, Liliana began teaching dance lessons at the age of 14 and started her first business at the age of 17.
In 1999, at the age of 23, Liliana founded the School of Dance and Music in Hermosa Beach.
Since that time, the school has expanded to include locations in Redondo and Manhattan Beach.
Over the last 14 years, more than 15,000 students have taken dance classes or music lessons at the school.
In addition to raising her sons with her husband Dan, Liliana started the Play Harder Movement – a concept of helping small business owners live their dreams of not only owning a successful business, but by owning the happiness and quality of life that they desire.
