The Second Amendment with Ted Nugent
In the wake of the recent defeat of the Senate bill proposing stricter gun laws, Ted Nugent weighs in on the Second Amendment and his passion for hunting. Author L. Todd Wood talks about financial warfare taking place around the world, and about his next book “Sugar,” and Craig Andresen from The National Patriot returns to talk about the media bias in the Boston Marathon tragedy. If that wasn’t enough, during the recent CPAC conference Mike McCarthy sat down with Jeff Stiers from The National Center for Public Policy Research for a great interview, and of course we’ll also have all the latest political news.
The Don Smith Show “where it’s ok to be a conservative,” brings you the most in-depth coverage of all the latest political news. While the liberal media currently dominates the airwaves, now there is an alternative. Listen to The Don Smith Show every Saturday at Noon ET to hear great interviews with people like Ted Nugent, Chuck Woolery, Jon Voight, Col. Allen West, Lee Greenwood, Gov. Scott Walker, Deneen Borelli, Crystal Wright, NRA President David Keene, Victoria Jackson, and many more leading conservatives.
Don Smith is a business executive, and fiscal conservative. As seen on Fox News, CBS, PBS, and heard on various radio broadcasts around the country, The Don Smith Show takes the complex issues facing this nation and breaks them down in an easy to understand format. Tune in every Saturday morning for all the latest political news, and hear from famous conservatives from around this great country.

Interview with Senator Mike Gravel
Listen to my Interview with Senator Mike Gravel.
Former Senator Gravel served in the U.S. Army (1951-54). He received a B.S. in economics from Columbia University, New York City, and holds four honorary degrees in law and public affairs.
Mike Gravel served in the U.S. Senate from 1969-81. He served on the Finance, Interior, and Environmental and Public Works committees, chairing the Energy, Water Resources, Buildings and Grounds, and Environmental Pollution subcommittees.
In 1971, he waged a successful one-man filibuster for five months that forced the Nixon administration to cut a deal, effectively ending the draft in the United States. He is most prominently known for his release of the Pentagon Papers, the secret official study that revealed the lies and manipulations of successive U.S. administrations that misled the country into the Vietnam War. After the New York Times published portions of the leaked study, the Nixon administration moved to block any further publication of information and to punish any newspaper publisher who revealed the contents.
From the floor of the senate, Gravel (a junior senator at the time) insisted that his constituents had a right to know the truth behind the war and proceeded to read 4,100 pages of the 7,000 page document into the senate record. The Supreme Court ultimately ruled that Senator Gravel did not have the right and responsibility to share official documents with his constituents.
He then published The Senator Gravel Edition, The Pentagon Papers, Beacon Press (1971). This publication resulted in litigation, Gravel v. U.S., resulting in a landmark Supreme Court decision (No. 71-1017-1026) relative to the Speech and Debate Clause (Article 1, Section 6) of the United States Constitution.
Books authored by Senator Gravel are Jobs and More Jobs, and Citizen Power.

Patrick's Monday Night Review with Bette A. Stevens
8:30 PM ET Patrick's Monday Night Review with Bette A. Stevens. PURE TRASH, The Short Story by Bette A. Stevens The year is 1955. If you grew up in the 1950s and the 1960s, you may be among those who like to recall those good old “Happy Days” of television fame. Even younger generations enjoy watching the old TV reruns to get a peek into what life was like back then. In this short story, Shawn and Willie Daniels are off on a Saturday adventure in search of trash to turn into treasure. It was going to be a great day. Shawn was sure of it. No school and no bullies to remind him that he’s not one of the crowd. This is a story about bullies and what it’s like to be bullied. It may redefine your definition of bullying. If you were a child who was thought of as “different” in some way, you know what bullying is about: torment, persecution, intimidation, to name a few of its descriptors. For Shawn and Willie, their difference was based upon the social status of the dysfunctional family and the alcoholism and abject poverty in which they grew up.
