Building self esteem is a lifelong process, but it can help you feel better about yourself and your life. We'll talk about having a positive affirmation about yourself, meaning thinking good about you. Your good qualities, your achievements, are you doing your best or can you do better?

Very many people in today's world are stressed and simply very bad at relaxing. Relaxation is a skill that is important to have if you want to raise your self-esteem. Being stressed is unhealthy leads to low self-esteem. To build self-esteem you need to develop a good health and self-awareness. You need to listen to yourself. By relaxing you can develop high self-esteem by tuning in to what you need and what you want, and it will help you to become healthier. Both are important for self-esteem.
Thus Self Confidence is about one’s abilities, while Self Esteem is about one’s sense of worth as a person. Let’s look at what this means through an example…
When you go for a job interview, self confidence is the quality that causes you to believe that the interviewer will find you qualified, and offer you a job. Self esteem is the quality that causes you to believe that you are a valuable person whose life is important — regardless of the opinion of the interviewer and of whether you are offered the job.

Apostle Loretta Williams is a Motivational Speaker and Teacher who will be sharing information that is essential and vital to our physical (body) welfare which will also include the benefits of nutritious meals, herbs and spices and various foods that provide protein and vitamins that are good for our bodies. We will learn more on how to stabilize our mental and psychological (the mind and our thoughts) and dealing with our emotions (how we feel). Self-Esteem is so incredibly important to our growth as a human being. Quite often this delicate part of us can be shattered by careless words or deeds from someone who supposedly loved us. If this occurs when we are very young or at any stage of our life, it can change the course of our lives from that point on. We can become very introverted, shy, withdrawn and fearful of speaking, being heard or just plain being. It can affect every area of our life making us feel very unworthy of much of anything.
What can we do when we realize what is going on! By just acknowledging that you have no “self-esteem” within, and accepting that fact, you are already on a forward motion to recovery. We will share ideas on what you can do to bring yourself back home to your “true self” so you can create the life you have always dreamed of. A’ho.

Many people under estimate and undervalue the importance of self-esteem, while others place too much of their energy on the concept. Kelly Tonelli is a clinical psychologist working in private practice with patients who are experiencing life transitions, many of whom are teenage girls. She happily relocated from Michigan to Southern California to attend Pepperdine University and fell in love with the sunshine (snow is cold).
