Married couples often seek to correct each other, not realizing what they say and do may be hurtful. We'll examine three cases today: in the first one, a husband is concerned about his wife's obesity, and his intention is to remind her to stick to a diet, but his constant, public reminders about her weight only makes her feel humiliated. In the second case, the wife, a college professor, keeps correcting her husband's grammar. He is head of a community organization a often is asked to speak, but sometimes mispronounces words. She says she's trying to help him. He says she's arrogant and condescending.

She enjoyed the privilege leading the samba school in major parades like the San Diego Mardi Gras in the Gaslamp and the San Francisco Carnival. Her mission is to educate people about the history and the beauty of Brazilian culture through dance, music, and performance. She is currently teaching children, adults, and Senior citizens basic dance steps and advanced level movement. She hopes to prepare them to participate in shows and competitions. Courtney hopes to establish a permanent cultural facility where all Brazilian dance forms can be taught. Her infectious love and knowledge of other cultures comes through in a strong way.
