    Broken, Mended, Made Whole

    in Christianity

Isaiah 57:15 says this,  For thus says the high and exalted One Who lives forever, whose name is Holy, "I dwell on a high and holy place, And also with the contrite and lowly of spirit In order to revive the spirit of the lowly And to revive the heart of the contrite. And the truth be known,  God loves us so much he will allow us to hit our rock bottom if it means finding Him. Sometimes I must get honest with myself and say I at times don't really want to be broken. Somehow that just sounds like losing or second best, our flesh gets in the way and says we don't need fixing, mending, trials, suffering or difficultiies to help us draw close to Almighty God. The real question is where will I go to get answers for my own brokenness? Because true colors are revealed when we go through those fiery trials of life. They let us know where we stand in our faith in God and where we are in our walk with Him. It often leaves us spiritually naked and in need of more than we can offer ourselves. We turn to other vices to help sooth the pain such as alcohol, drugs or ography. When God only wants whats best for us he will at times allow pain and difficulty to deepen our relationship with Him and be broken, mended and made whole....Thats His plan.

    in Education

Robert Seal has demonstrated his commitment to developing the academic library in a number of ways. Known as a staunch advocate for international library cooperation, his ability to share information in a bilingual environment has made Seal a strong advocate for breaking down barriers and extending partnerships between libraries in the U.S. and Latin America. In addition, Seal is recognized both as a strong, visionary leader and as a caring mentor to new and experienced academic librarians. Having led libraries at a number of institutions, he is widely known for his commitment to hiring and developing innovative staff along with recognizing their contributions to the library and campus communities. Seal’s focus on developing human, along with physical, resources has earned him a reputation for re-envisioning the academic library. One of Seal’s major accomplishments is the planning and construction of the LEAF award-winning Loyola University Klarchek information Common.  Under Seal’s leadership and commitment to community engagement, the Klarchek Information Commons has placed the library at the heart of Loyola’s campus life and serves as an inspiration for similar projects at other institutions in Chicago and beyond.

    Endgame 2: Broken Arrow

    in Christianity

Join us LIVE at 11:00 AM CST for the Sunday service of Fire & Grace Church. Today, we will revisit some messages and prophetic warnings that I have given over the last 5 years. In partcular, we will look at the Endgame message that I preached on May 2, 2010 and subsequent prophetic dreams about a nuclear attack on America in light of the JADE HELM 15 drill. It appears that we in America are on the brink of another 911 and the world is headed to WW3 and a world government.

    BLESSED TO BE BROKEN!

    in Religion

Why does it seem like the more you try to do what is right and live a life that is pleasing to God, the more chaotic life's circumstances seem to get? God's Ways are not like ours and we must learn to embrace the Mind of God concerning every aspect of our lives. Whenever Jesus blessed, He also broke! Are you blessed? Then, you must know what it is like to be broken! God is the Master of mending broken pieces. He IS the Potter, remember? We have a lot to talk about!
