    in Books

Libby Hellmann welcomes the founders of BRASH BOOKS to Second Sunday Crime. Joel Goldman and Lee Goldberg, themselves accomplished crime fiction authors, created BRASH BOOKS in 2014 with one simple objective: To publish the Best Crime Books in Existence! Which means crime novels from the recent past, as well as as-yet undiscovered NEW crime stories. As they say, "We’ve got it all: psychological thrillers, murder mysteries, international espionage, and police procedurals from established masters of the craft – as well as premiere books from new voices who are sure to become crime fiction stars." With nearly 30 authors and 200 titles in their camp, they've hit the pavement running and haven't slowed down. What's it like to turn from writing to publishing? Why do it? And, most important, how do you measure success? Find out all that and more when they talk to Libby Hellmann at Second Sunday Crime, April 12,  2015. In the meantime, visit  Brash at http://www.brash-books.com  and their individual websites at www.joelgoldman.com  and www.leegoldberg.com.  Host Libby Fischer Hellman's website is http://www.libbyhellmann.com/ and to purchase her books, go to http://amzn.to/1zliVZx.

Award-winning author Zoe Sharp on Second Sunday Crime with Libby Hellmann

    in Books

Second Sunday Crime host Libby Fischer Hellmann welcomes award-winning author Zoe Sharp, who was the headliner for the Love Is Murder conference that ended today in Chicago.  Zoe and Libby will be discussing crime fiction, murder-mysteries, publishing and all things books.  Zoe has this message for listeners:  "When I was younger, reading was my doorway to the world. It encouraged me to stretch the wings of my imagination and later, when I couldn’t find the kind of strong female protagonist I wanted to read about, I set about writing my own. Charlie Fox was the result. Reading exercises your mind, makes you take an active role in discovering the twists and turns of the story where TV and the movies allow you to passively sit back and wait to be spoon fed. I could ask you to read my book, but instead I’d ask you simply to read. Any book, every book. Reading will take you to different places, different lives, even different galaxies. Who was it who said. “The greatest journeys a man can make are inside his own head ?.”  http://zoesharp.com. THIS IS A LIVE INTERVIEW ON 2/8/15 WITH A BOOK GIVEAWAY FOR CALLERS. 347-884-8266.

    Stories From The Heart

    in Education

Please call in to join Libby and jolly Wednesday’s at 5:30pm Eastern US time weekly, for sharing stories from the heart about both earthly experiences while moving through the matrix without a legal name, and spiritual connections to the big part of you, of who you really are! Sharing our stories is so valuable to both the teller and the ones listening.

We suggest that we all are open, and share while we remain aware of how we are expressing ourselves.

When relating stories, a great way to give perspective is to speak in the present moment as you are describing what happened… as if you are a camera recording what is happening; speaking in the third person can bring objectivity to situation.

Libby and jolly are here not to correct you, but to simply remind you [with some flexibility] of the rocky waters of getting lost in the memories and to stay in the now… as in the gift or gem that comes with the story. Remember, it is all about balance.

Standing in our power is so much fun. Come join us in this inflowment of empowerment

4/26/15 - RLSN Milwaukee Baseball Report presented by Coach E-Dubs Fitness/LOF

    in Baseball

It’s week three of the 2015 season and the Milwaukee Brewers are averaging just one victory a week. At this point last year the Brewers had 18 wins, at the pace they are going right now, they won’t reach 18 wins until August. I doubt they will continue their one win a week trend until then, but it has been a rough season so far. The Milwaukee Brewers placed two more on the DL, Catcher Jonathon Lucroy and second basemen Scooter Gennett. Gennett now owns the weirdest injury of the 2015 season as he cut his hand reaching for body wash in the Pittsburgh Pirates shower last Sunday and Lucroy suffered a fractured toe after taking a foul tip off of it catching on Tuesday.

In this weeks episode of the Milwaukee Baseball Report, Evan will recap the past week in the Brewers season and discuss if there is any hope to savage the season. He will also give his good, bad, and ugly of the week.  This show us brought to you by Coach E-Dubs Fitness and Legend of the Fields.
