In this episode of Nicholas Snow Live, Nicholas and guest co-host Jen Houston (a singer/songwriter, actor, entrepreneur and ally of the LGBT community) expose the truth behind religious bigotry, and in fact, bigotry of all kinds, offering their perspectives on recent attempts to legalize descrimination in the State of Indiana and elsewhere. The Chicago Bulls and Chicago Blackhawks have each begun their respective playoff series with middling results. Despite a 2-0 series lead over the Milwaukee Bucks, the Bulls have looked vulnerable to double teams and traps, and have struggled with taking care of the basketball. Derrick Rose had a successful Game 1, his first playoff game since 2012, but had a rough night shooting the ball in Game 2. The injury roller coaster continues to swing up and down for this team as it tries to find a playoff rhythm. The Blackhawks, meanwhile, managed to steal Game 1 of their series vs the Nashville Predators and take a 2-1 series lead into tonight's Game 4. Patrick Kane is back, Coach Joel Quenneville has used varying lineups, and the goalie controversy is swirling in Chicago. Corey Crawford sits again tonight, and 26 year old rookie Scott Darling gets the start in net for the Hawks. I'm breaking down these two playoff series so far, and looking ahead to tonight's game between the Blackhawks and the Predators. All this and your phone calls at (347) 327-9183!

Did you know that Nafe is the largest global network for women? It also recently celebrated its 42nd year of serving women across the globe. Their headquarters are in New York, but they have networks across the country run by dynamic women like Joan who step to the plate to touch lives.
Lets learn a little bit about this dynamic woman.
Joan Wakeland-Taylor was born in 1941 in Jamaica West Indies. She graduated in 1964 as a Pharmacist from the University of Technology in Jamaica West Indies and owned and operated 3 Pharmacies in Jamaica.
Things were scary in 1977 and she feared for her son’s life as well as her own so she migrated to New Jersey with only $50.00 for her and $50.00 for her son as that is all that was allowed to take out of the country. They stayed in New Jersey for 6 weeks and then came to California
She could not get a job as a Pharmacist in the US so she became a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative and worked for several companies,
She raised her two sons on her own by working hard while at the same time being a role model as a mother. She put them through college and they are both successful today. One of her greatest thrills is that she recently became a grandmother.
Joan was a member of my Menifee Nafe and loved its concept, and stepped into the role of starting two California networks, one in Rancho Cucamonga and the other recently in Riverside..
Joan is a woman of commitment; she is totally passionate about the work that she is doing. A woman of connection, she is able to accomplish results through relationships and influence. A woman who makes consistent contributions to her community and her business, she has a track record of success and possesses deep levels of competence, knowledge and creditability.
She is sharing these skills with the women of her network she can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org
Hailing from the land of catfish, moonshine, and grits, Pat Fitzhugh is best known for his books about the history, legends, and lore of the American South. From the eerie swamps of Louisiana to the ghostly homes and misty mountains of Virginia, Fitzhugh's writing embodies the passions, fears, and tragedies of a region shrouded in mystery and rich in folklore. His reverence for the past and scholarly interest in the supernatural are strikingly evident in his style of writing, which not only tingles the spine, but exudes a profound sense of history and place. “I take yarns of history, legends, and tragedy, and I weave them into stories that not only entertain, but also shed light on the region's people and past. Tales of ghosts, haints, and spooks are often scary, but adding layers of history and culture creates a sense of realism that makes them even scarier.” Fitzhugh is currently working on the thirteenth anniversary edition of his popular title, The Bell Witch: The Full Account (Armand Press), which has become a staple of modern, history-based ghost research. When not writing books or telling stories, Pat Fitzhugh enjoys photography, eating Southern cuisine, playing loud guitars, and fishing at Turkey Creek.
