Sandy Lane Hotel - Cocaine - Heroine - David Rouse and Security

    in Radio

SANDY LANE HOTEL’s Chief of Security David Rouse is allegedly telling Sandy Lane workers to hide cocaine and other illicit drugs that repeat and other visitors use should the security team find it.  He and his small team who are abused by him and Vincent daily are telling the security that if they see a stash of coke or other drugs and contraband, don’t call Holetown police.  The officers who are too afraid to lose their jobs say that they are scared to touch the cocaine that they recently saw in an open safe left by a top player who likes to shop in Barbados and hang out by the Greens.  From coke to heroin, the security are asked to handle it and not with gloves and the scared officers who also have to form a human ring at the beach while Sir Philip and others party this Old Year’s, are scared that their prints will be all over the coke if in fact, the police will swoop in.  http://nakeddeparture.com/2015/12/24/sandy-lane-says-hide-the-cocaine/

The Authentic Leader with Apostle Dr. Sandy Murphy

    in Spirituality

This week on the Gray Matter Show, Apostle Gray continues our discussion about The New Normal with the focus on authenticity of our leaders.  Most of today’s church leaders allow the abnormal behavior we see in the church to run rampant, without correction; it’s time for this topic to be addressed.  Leaders, we can only lift others up when we are standing on a firm foundation.   Purpose, authenticity, and humility give us a secure, stable base from which to lead.  John Maxwell made this statement once, “Authentic leaders have self-awareness, self-respect, self-confidence, and emotional maturity. They prize integrity above image, and they seek to build trust with others on the basis of their personal character.”

The Gray Matter Show welcomes back a dear friend to the show, Apostle Dr. Sandy Murphy to discuss with us the Authentic Leaders.  Dr. Murphy is the founder of Whole Family Healing & Deliverance Center and author of several successful inspirational books: Too Bad It Wasn't A Dream, Loosing The Persecuted Preacher-Woman, Why Lust Won't Let You Live, Inside/Out, The Cry Of A Grasswidow’s Child and the Curse of Dishonor.  Make sure you make your plans to join us for the next episode of the Gray Matter Show.

Ep. 124 - An Fun, Strange and New Spring Feeling for the 2016 Mets

    in Sports

The Rising Apple Report returns for the 124th episode at 9pmET! Sam Maxwell hosts, with staff writers Rich Sparago and Mike Lecolant, as well as Faith and Fear in Flushing's Greg Prince as we continue to countdown to Pitchers and Catchers! (We're at 15 days away...)

It feels strange, it feels like a new sensation, but the anxiety level for this New York Mets team must be at its lowest point in years, if not the lowest point ever...The fans, the players, the coaches, the front office and ownership all seem to be on the same page...and that is ultimately a World Series victory. Even outside of the main goal generally for every team going into a baseball season, the Metsian conversation is strictly baseball related, and it is utterly fantastic. We will explore the dicotomy of all of that, and talk the roster as we head into Spring Training.

And as always, we'll discuss the players who have worn number 24 in the history of the New York Mets, as well as a bit of New York National League History from 1924.

So, join us at 9pmET for the latest edition of the Rising Apple Report!

Rising Apple Report, New Year/Hall of Fame Edition!

    in Sports

Happy New Year, Metsian Folk! The Rising Apple Report returns for its 1st episode of 2016! Brooklyn Trolley Blogger Mike Lecolant hosts, with site editor Danny Abriano and writer Rich Sparago joining them for all the piping hot Mets talk! Joining them as well will be long-time friend of Rising Apple and blogger Metstradamus, Mr. John Coppinger.

Well, after 4 years of waiting, it finally happened: Mike Piazza, the greatest hitting catcher of all time, has been elected to the baseball Hall of Fame! AND as expected, he will don a Mets cap on his plaque. We'll discuss his career, our favorite memories, and what this means for the era of the 90's and 00's overall in future HOF voting.

Most fans have wished for a more active offseason following a pennant-winning year, but that has not occurred. Whether it's the debt the Wilpons are still living under, Sandy Alderson's reluctance to dole out long-term 2nd generation contracts, or both, we'll discuss the offseason so far, as well as options the Mets should still be considering, whether realistic they will pursue them or not.

So, join us at 6:30pm ET for the latest edition of the Rising Apple Report!
