When something burst inside David's head, both Donna and David's lives changed forever. Before each of David's three brain surgeries, Donna had only one request of David's surgeons. She implored, "I don't care how you give David back to me, just give him back to me." David did return to Donna, but as a different person. Donna fell in love all over again with this newer version of her husband. David's TBI resulted in a “fork in the road” for both David and Donna.
Her new show will be coming in August on 1st & 3rd Monday at 5pm pac/8pm est. Learn more about Donna at her blogs: www.donnaodonnellfigurski.wordpress.com AND www.survivingtraumaticbraininjury.com

Background and Guest Information:
Many—perhaps even most—people who have come to embrace a healthier lifestyle arrived at their “fork in the road” because of an event in their lives. For some individuals a serious condition such as a frightening diagnosis or morbid obesity thrusts them into an I’m-willing-to-try-anything place.
Join Dr. Ritamarie and Sheree Clark as they discuss the reasons that bring you to a place where you are looking at the direction you are going. A healthier lifestyle is about more than just what you put in your mouth.
You can sign up for Sheree’s monthly e-zine, “That’s Forkin’ Amazing,” at her website,“Fork in the Road”. You can also get her award-winning recipe for Chocolate Jalapeno Poppers, along with the recipe of the week.
Check out Dr. Ritamarie’s VITAL Health Community for additional resources on the role that food plays in your health, and strategies for planning your meals for you to live your life full of energy and vitality.

"There is nothing wrong with me !! I was born this way!"
"Don't pooh pooh it"
"through your own knowing, you become your own proof"
"Hey...get on board the love train, or derail its up to you"
"your are love eternal, you choose to use it or not"
I have always been this way. When I was young I use to shudder at night because I could hear voices and talking, figures moving around. When the lights would go out a whole new world emerged, not being distracted by the every day things in the world, at night it was quiet, and it came alive, everything was moving, and breathing.
So when I would run around the neighbourhood talking about the movie's in the sky, and the colour t.v. we had( which was black and white) my parents were just stymied, and I can't blame them this was something they had never dealt with.

New International Version (NIV)
Salt and Light
13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.
14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.
16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

Did you know that the most powerful tool you have to change your life isn’t a curette? It’s a fork. Yes, a fork. We have all heard the phrase, “you are what you eat” and the nutritional choices you make play a big role not only in how you feel but also the quality of your life. Despite all the technology we have now nutrition information has become more and more confusing. Shirley Gutkowski, BSDH and America’s Dental Hygienist talks with Nutritional Biochemist Tara Palmer, MS about what we should eat and how what we eat affects our overall health.
Tara Palmer has a background in Biochemistry and a Masters Degree in Human Nutrition. She is a speaker and author from Eugene, Oregon and for over 25 years has been a pioneer in the field of applied clinical nutrition. She leads the patient back to health by finding the path their body took to arrive at its current condition.
Tara’s approach is holistic although it is based on scientific and clinically proven, reliable methods. Her customized programs have resulted in improved health and sustainable outcomes for thousands of clients. Visit her online at NutritionalChemistry.net.
