PMP: M.R. Sellars - Books, Brews and Bandying

    in Spirituality

Join RevKess and Kalisara as we bring back one of our all time favorite authors and guests, M.R. Sellars.

From Sellars' website: A member of the ITW (International Thriller Writers), M. R. Sellars is a relatively unassuming homebody who, in his own words, “tells pretty lies for a living.” While he had several short stories appear in minor publications, it wasn’t until 2000 that his first full-length novel, Harm None: A Rowan Gant Investigation, hit bookstore shelves, officially launching the acclaimed paranormal thriller series and its associated spinoff.

When last we spoke with our intrepid writer, he had just begun the journey into the Constance Mandalay Novels. Now, we get to find out how his writing is going today, and what he does in his spare time. We will be talking about writing, book tours, homebrew adventures, and much, much more.

The Legal Show: The Kim Davis Controversy

    in Legal

Attorney Sarah Avraham and writer Bennet Pomerantz discuss the subjects of the day.
The audience should know that although Ms. Avraham is a licensed attorney, she is not offering legal advice in any capacity, is not establishing an attorney/client relationship with anyone listening to the show, and recommends that any listener of the show consult a local attorney for any legal advice they may require.
This show is about us discussing hot topics and how they relate to the law.  Rowan County, Kentucky Clerk Kim Davis' office turned away David Moore and David Ermold just hours after a U.S. district judge ordered her to do the opposite. Deputy clerk Nathan Davis says their office was advised by its attorneys with the Christian law firm Liberty Counsel to continue refusing same-sex couples during the pendency of the appeal of the the ruling to the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. Kim Davis has argued that her deeply held Christian beliefs prevent her from issuing licenses to same-sex couples. After the U.S. Supreme Court ruled gay marriage bans unconstitutional, Davis stopped issuing licenses to any couple, gay or straight.  Many things have been said in regards to this controversial case, but tune in to hear our hosts break down the legal intricacies that entangle this controversy.

American Daily Review: Another Anti-Christian Hate Crime

    in Politics Conservative

Citzens United was NOT about policy; By 2-1, Americans still support Planned Parenthood, and nearly 70% oppose a government shutdown to "defund" it; Another day, another wave of classified Hillary Clinton emails as her fundraising numbers continue to plummet; Illegal aliens and the Electoral College; Obama ups the government shutdown ante; Is Marco Rubio emerging as Donald Trump's main challenger?; Russia has taken over the Middle East and shown the U.S. the door; Obama closes U.S. nuclear program; Angela Merkel reaps the Muslim whirlwind; Americans agree with Ben Carson on "No Muslim President"; and the Great Staredown - Benjamin Netanyahu at the U.N.

Then, in hour #3 of the Saturday Afternoon Extravanganza on Constitution Radio on KMET 1490-AM, 4PM Eastern/1PM Pacific:

REAL unemployment surges, wages keep falling; Hurricane Joaquin blasts Bahamas, looks like it won't become another SuperStorm Sandy; Pope Francis meets with, encourages, and then blatantly betrays Rowan County, Kentucky Clerk Kim Davis; Tea Partiers loathed John Boehner as House Speaker, so he gave them what they wanted - his resignation, and the agenda-spiking chaos that is already underway; and the anti-Christian pogrom at Umpqua Community College in Roseberg, Oregon.

GAYS IN HIP HOP on Gut Level Talk - Radio

    in Entertainment

I was watching the news on Wednesday night after Empire. I noticed that the news castors were talking about Lucious Lion's son being an openly gay hip hop star on the show. They went on to say that his character hopefully broke down doors for opnely gay rappers to come out and I guess market themselves as gay rapper/rappers. It seemed like it was really important to them that somebody, anybody come out and own being gay and and rapping at the same time. I just thought it was a little funny that it's such a priority with them. Anyway this week we going to dice this up. Plus we gonna talk about Kim Davis and her marriage license fiasco in Rowan County, Kentucky. Hit up the link or listen call 646 716 7053 and listen live on the phone.
