The Huntington Study Group (HSG) hosted more than 400 attendees from around the world that included expert clinicians, researchers, and coordinators of clinical studies at their annual meeting in late October. Rounding out this group were representatives from several drug companies, and most importantly individuals and families affected by HD. The highlights listed are just a few of the many presentations but are those that this author thought most important...
Adoption has become a popular trend across the globe. Though it may seem like the "in" thing to do to many, to the thousands of children in the system this is serious. They are being tossed around from family to family with no consideration for their feelings or emotional well-being. Children who exit and reenter multiple times in a year are counted only once. Due to rounding of the original AFCARS source data and to missing data, some percentages do not add up to 100 percent, or the estimated numbers do not add up to the total number in the category.
Point in Time.
Of the estimated 402,378 children in foster care on September 30, 2013:
?42 percent were White.
?24 percent were Black or African-American.
?22 percent were Hispanic (of any race).
?9 percent were other races or multiracial.
3 percent were unknown or unable to be determined

It's MLB playoffs time, and that means one thing! Well, unfortunately, this year it means no more Detroit Tigers baseball, and no more podcasts as your fearless hosts have been enjoying the postseason festivities.
While no baseball is being played, there has been plenty of note in Tigers land lately. Daniel Norris was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, while Jeff Jones announced his retirement from baseball, all within the span of a few hours on Monday afternoon. Rob and HookSlide also rehash some old news in discussing general manager Al Avila's plan for the offseason, take some listener questions, and finish off the show with a debate on takeout slides, one of the hotter topics of this year's postseason.
Topics in this week's episode include:
The worst Saturday ever (for Rob, at least)
Playoffs! They're fun! And not stressful!
The best bat flips ever, and whether they're actually bat flips
Tigers postseason awards, including an unlikely Cy Young candidate
Daniel Norris is diagnosed with thyroid cancer
The Tigers need a new pitching coach

Who should the Tigers not sign?
The future of Miguel Cabrera's hair

Maverick is left all by himself at TRSOTP towers this week, and he begins by reviewing the 10/14 edition of NXT, touching on the tag scene, the women's division in a post-Sasha landscape and the battle royal that crowned an intriguing number one contender. He then goes onto explain why he's looking forward to John Cena going on a sabbatical, before rounding out the show with his personal top 10 matches to take place at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view to date. Be sure to tune in at 9PM GMT/5PM EST!
Despite a very boring international break, the lads still power through to bring you over an hour of Bolton Wanderers chat. This week Chris is joined by tech wiz Rob and a duo of Liams, LOVpod regular Liam O'Meara and debutant Liam Hatton, founder of fellow Wanderers site Trotters Blog.
Despite some initial recording difficulties - we'll blame the software, rather than the supposed tech wiz - the boys preview Saturday's fixture at Burnley, then take a look back at the latest striker transfer updates as the search for a new one continues. Neil Lennon's comments following the QPR match, which have landed him in hot water with The FA, were also on the agenda.
With a lack of anything else to discuss, a special feature was introduced this week, as the cast run through their all-time Bolton XI, before rounding off events with a game of Guess Who and this week's Twitter question.

In this week's episode, Rob and HookSlide talk about the biggest news in Tigers-dom: Tom Gorzelanny's new arm angle and whether Neftali Feliz should be tendered a contract. Oh, and that whole thing about Ausmus returning next year, too. They also look east to discuss the feud that went down in our nation's capital between Jonathan Papelbon and Bryce Harper, and point out the key differences between the still employed Brad Ausmus and newly-fired Matt Williams.
Topics in this week's episode include:
Why the No. 9 overall draft pick is a good thing
J.D. Martinez didn't hit 40 homers, but that's OK
Daniel Norris threw 54 pitches in an inning and everyone hated it
Tom Gorzelanny, Neftali Feliz, and other players we don't want to see in 2016
Guess who's back? Back again. Ausmus is back. Tell a friend...
Does Al Avila need to Ausmus-proof the roster?
Which teams will (not) win the World Series
Jonathan Papelbon and workplace etiquette
Rest in peace, Buck Farmer

EVERYDAY IT IS THE SAME DAMN THING...WE NEED TO STAND UP AND DO SOMETHING TO SAVE OUR COUNTRY FROM THE VERY GOVERNMENT THAT SEEKS TO WEAKEN US TO THE POINT THAT A SMALL ARMY WOULD EASILY BE ABLE TO JUST WALK IN AND TAKE CONTROL OF OUR ONCE GREAT AND POWERFUL NATION WITHOUT FIRING A SHOT.....IS THIS THE PLOT OF A MOVIE YOU MAY SEE ON THE SYFY NETWORK OR COULD IT BE THAT YOU HAVE JUST WOKE UP FROM A VERY BAD DREAM?
AND WHAT I DO NOT UNDERSTAND IS THE MOMENT SOMEONE STANDS UP AND TRIES TO DO SOMETHING TO TAKE A STAND FOR OUR FREEDOMS AND LIBERTY IS THE MOMENT THEY ARE ATTACKED AND CALLED EVERY NAME IS THE BOOK AND THE ONES ATTACKING THEM CALL THEMSELVES TRUE PATRIOTS......BULLSHIT I SAY AND IF THEY GET BUTT HURT OVER HEARING THE TRUTH I DO NOT CARE ANYMORE
WELL SADLY IT IS NOT A MOVIE ON SYFY OR A BAD DREAM, i WISH IT WERE, AS THE TRUTH IS THAT IT IS GOING ON RIGHT NOW RIGHT UNDER OUR VERY NOSES AND EACH DAY OUR GOVERNMENT BECOMES MORE AND MORE BOLD I THEIR TACTICS AND ONE BY ONE THEY ARE PUSHING US TO THE BREAKING POINT AND THEN TAKING US OUT OF THE PICTURE ALTOGETHER AND I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE THINKING THIS COULD NEVER HAPPEN IN AMERICA, AS WE HAVE LAWS TO PORTECT US, I HAVE GOT NEWS FOR YOU THOSE LAWS HAVE BEEN TAKEN AWAY AND WE HAVE BEEN SOLD OUT TO THE UNITED NATIONS TO SET UP THE NEW WORLD ORDER.....WHAT'S NEXT DEATH SQUIDS, FIRING SQUIDS, MOBLE EXICUTION VEHICLES OR THE LARGE SCALE ROUNDING UP OF CITIZENS THAT HAS NOT BEEN SEEN SINCE NAZI GERMANY?
I WARNED YOU, AS DID MANY OTHERS, BUT YOU FAILED TO HEED OUR WARNINGS AND NOW IT IS 100% UPON US AND SO YOU DO NOT HAVE ANYONE TO BLAME EXCEPT YOURSELVES FOR THE EVIL THAT SITS AT YOUR DOORSTEP WAITING TO DRAG YOU AND THOSE YOU LOVE FROM YOUR HOME IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT KICKING AND SCREEMING FOR MERCY, BUT WILL THERE BE ANYONE LEFT TO HEAR YOUR CRIES AND CHARGE IN TO SAVE YOU AND THOSE YOU LOVE FROM SURE DEATH?
In Episode 29 of the #LOVpod, Chris is joined by latest debutant Matt, for the second week in a row Liam and stand in tech wiz Rob, for another fine episode of the best Bolton Wanderers podcast around.
In this week's show they discussed the Whites' dramatic 2-2 draw against Brighton & Hove Albion in great depth, including Gary Madine, Max Clayton, David Wheater, Francesco Pisano and Neil Danns.
Next up the lads looked forward to Saturday's trip to Loftus Road to face Queens Park Rangers, which touches on a planned national protest against the price of away tickets.
In the third section the boys take a closer look at the ongoing striker saga at Wanderers, with the likes of Yann Kermogant and Igor Vetokele continuing to be linked to the Macron Stadium.
All that before rounding proceedings off with a double dose of Guess Who and examining your views in this week's Twitter Question.
