Women of Yesterday for Women of Today 22 August 2015

We women today need to understand what God's plan is for us in today's society.  God is NOT difficult.  We need to understand the women of the Bible, their trials and the understanding of the Virtuous Woman in Proverbs.  God is real and we are his tangible testimonies.  Let's prepare ourselves to live according to the scriptures of God's Holy Word.

  • Aug. 28, 2015, 10pm (PDT) - SOR Monthly Roundtable with Dave and Friends

    in Paranormal

With the stress of putting on a monthly talk show five days a week, Spaced Out Radio host Dave Scott likes to bring in some friends for a night of fun, seriousness, laughs and opinion on the SOR Monthly Roundtable.

The last Friday of every month, Dave and friends hop on line for a conversation and commentary regarding topics from odd and obscure to the absolutely insane.  Anything from weird news that's hit the papers to serious sources of discussion that are talked about during the last month on SOR.  The guests Dave invites do not know the topics or where Dave is directing the show.  They are in the dark and have no time to prepare for the question at hand.  It makes for some interesting answers.

It's an intimate and interactive show, where Dave encourages audience participation, either from the SOR chat room or by calling into 1-607-203-5344.  It's one of the most popular shows Spaced Out Radio does a month.  Check it out, it's worth a good laugh.

Stuck in Yesterday -- Write Stuff -- 6/16/2015

    in Entertainment

How many people have ever been stuck in an elevator? It's not a good feeling. For one thing, you're standing there for a while, pressing the button and hoping someone will come soon. Then as you continue to wait, the walls close in on you and your breath is lodged in your throat -- and that is if you're NOT claustrophobic. For those who suffer from claustrophobia, it's a lot worse. They panic, bang on the doors, the roof, close their eyes, hold their breaths or just faint. Staying caught up in the past is a lot like being stuck in the elevator. You're not moving at all. Going up and down isn't an option. You're waiting on help to get you out there. In order words, you're looking for a way to get out of the box. Humans were not created to stand still. We were created to move, to grow, and to strive upward.

When we remain in the past due to an event or a series of events, good or bad, we cannot do what we are purposed to do. Move forward. That's why we become stuck in yesterday. We've all seen the sitcoms where the character is dressed up in polyester with bell bottoms and afro thinking they're hip. They refuse to move with the times because they're living in yesterday. We all know people who have suffered a traumatic event and still can't get over it.

Tune in with me as I chat with author Nigeria Lockley author of the upcoming release, Seasoned With Grace. You can download the WLUV radio mobile app today. Or, you can click on the link here: http://tobtr.com/7697467. Or, you can call in at 646-595-2083, press 1 to be live on air.
