We're coming to the end of a Mercury Retrograde, which can and does cause some havoc with tehcnologies and communications. Join us to learn some of the practical ins and outs of dealing with a planetary retrograde, particilarly Mercury in retrograde. KaliSara is the resident astrologer while RevKess sits back, asks questions, and learns right along with the listeners.
Then, we will delve into practical astrology for the dark of the year. KaliSara and RevKess will talk about how astrology can influence a person in this time of year. They will also talk about practical aspects of astrology on a daily basis. This should prove to be both thought provoking and entertaining.
A while back before I became focused on my "get a replacement car" mission I was presenting and talking about a number of points relating to American history, the American economic system and the Federal Reserve, and the secularlist agenda. I've drifted away from that for the simple reason that I had that gap where I didn't do any shows and moved on to other things. But one subject that has become very relevant out of that, not because of me, but relevant all the same is the biblical year of the release or the "shemitah year". Jonathan Cahn of course has a book out on this and while I've not read the book, I have read enough elsewhere to strongly feel that every 7th year, during a "shemitah year", we go through a correction. A number of economists have pointed to 2015 being perhaps a very bad year and with the Shemitah year officially starting on sundown September 24th on our calendar, we've seen our share of interesting things since then. Today, I wanted to talk a little bit about this as well as reference some of the arguments against it from some Christians out there and also if there's time share a couple of articles relating to the market and the economy that again point to potential trouble brewing. That's today at 5:30 Eastern time and archived afterward.
Show Topic: What is the Wheel of the Year?
The Four Seasons mark a seasonal change caused by the Sun. These are Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn, we are all familiar with these. The cross quarter days are usually celebrated as significant agricultural festivals. These are Samhain, Imbolic, Beltane and Lughnasad.
Together they make up the Wheel Of The Year. The Wheel Of The Year, is often broken into eight festivals, most commonly Seasonal Festivals or Celtic Sabbats, these are a common theme throughout the world.
The Festivals of the Wheel Of The Year represent the connections of the elements, nature, man and agriculture. Personally, I am drawn to the Celtic/Druid concepts of the Wheel.

Starting at Rosh Hashanah, Israel will be going through the Shmitta [Sabbatical] year. Why is that significant? Because it's one way of signifying that Israel [and the world] belongs to G-d. Just as the Jewish people get a rest day one day of the week [Shabbat], the land is to rest every seven years. The Torah gives two reasons to observe Shabbat: to acknowledge G-d as the creator and to remember their liberation form Egypt [Mitzrayim]. Shabbat ultimately sends the Jew two messages: that they acknowledge G-d as the ultimate sovereign and that they're not slaves. And with letting the land rest, it is to acknowledge that the land belongs to G-d. Just as the neshama Yehudi [Jewish soul] naturally clings to Torah, G-dliness, and mitzvot, the land of Israel is a holy land, as seen even from Jewish law [Halacha]. Even when eating, the Jew acknowledges the holiness of Israel. For instance, for olives and apples, both of which is haetz, olives take priority just by being one of the seven species of fruit that Israel is praised for. And the Shmitta acknowledges G-d as the sovereign. It goes back to what Rashi said, when he said that the reason why the Torah did not begin with the first mitzvah, but with the creation of the world, was so then Israel can say that G-d ultimately gave the land to them if the other nations accuse Israel of stealing Canaanite land. Just as Shabbat is something from G-d that's out of this world, so too, Shmitta is something from G-d out of this world. The difference is that whereas the Jew goes by days, Eretz Yisrael [the Land of Israel] goes by years. But it's still the same principle. Shmitta also teaches that just as Klal Yisrael [the community of Israel] is holy, the land is also holy as well and is not merely something to be walked on and taken for granted.
