Robin played 7 seasons for the Bears from 1977-83 and finished his 9 year Pro Football career by playing 2 seasons with the Birmingham Stallions of the United States Football League from 1984-85. After 16 days the federal government is finally re-opened!! How do we change the US Congress from red to blue (or at least a more bi-partisan purple). Since the 2012 historic inclusion of LGBTQ Americans at the Democratic Convention what's happened and what can we do to flex our political muscle? Joining CWT4R Wednesday, October 23, 2013 is special guest Earl D, Fowlkes, Jr. President and CEO of the Center for Black Equity (formerly the International Federation of Black Pride –IFBP). Fowlkes served last year as an Obama delegate to the Democratic National Convention. In August, 2013 the Democratic National Committee’s LGBTQ Caucus voted unanimously to elect EARL as the caucus’s chair. As an LGBTQ activist and DNC insider, Earl’s unique perspective can shed light on the importance of LGBTQ voter engagement and our role working with the DNC in local, mid-term and beyond. The time has come to embrace a REAL CHANGE listen in to find out what we did not do right to help the change occur the last two elections and how WE THE PEOPLE cannot repeat that mistake this election season. For too long the LGBTQ Community has allowed others to speak for us now we need to unite and all of the SILENT VOICES need to be HEARD. It starts with a “VOTE”.Join us
