One of the most beautiful passages in the Bible is in this chapter. It has been used in probably millions and millions of weddings:
Ruth 1:16-17New King James Version (NKJV)
16 But Ruth said:
“Entreat me not to leave you,
Or to turn back from following after you;
For wherever you go, I will go;
And wherever you lodge, I will lodge;
Your people shall be my people,
And your God, my God.
17 Where you die, I will die,
And there will I be buried.
The Lord do so to me, and more also,
If anything but death parts you and me.”

Ruth L. Miller, metaphysician, cybernetician, and anthropologist, takes a look at what's happening in the world today--spiritually, economically, politically, and technologically--and explores some other ways to think about them. If we are truly spiritual beings having a human experience, what's really going on here? What is our "job" when we encounter situations we feel are unjust or downright criminal? What can we do to make all this make sense?
Join in the dialogue as Ruth shares her wisdom and understanding about world events and the current shift in consciousness. This week she's talking about the Summer Solstice, John the Baptist, Mary Magdalene, and current events in Iraq, using Emma Curtis Hopkins' teachings to help us make sense of it all.

Listen in to hear how they are building a business from home! http://www.buildingfortunesradio.com Check out the Dr. Jacqueline and Irvin Harris segment.
Ladies and gentlemen we are in for an informative time on this episode of In Life Now Radio as we listen and learn from Kent County Commissioner Candace Chivis who is over District 17, and City Commissioner Ruth Kelly who is serving the 2nd Ward in the city of Grand Rapids, MI which is a part of Kent County. Let's find out what it takes to become a commissioner and what you have to do in order to be relevant and help sustain a community!
The first African American woman to serve as a Kent County commissioner, Candace Chivis said, "I felt that my voice wasn't being heard. The voice of an African American female wasn't being heard. And obviously it wasn't, because I'm going to be the first one."
Second Ward City Commissioner, Ruth Kelly said, "I had spent a lot of time getting out in the community, listening to people and making sure I understood the issues," Kelly said. "I believe in problem-solving and I think that good, well-crafted public policy can solve problems and prevent them."
Ruth's mother-in-law has an idea for Ruth to snag a wonderful husband. It involved sneaking to the man's bed at night! It sounds shocking and could definitely appear scandalous but is actually innocent. A beautiful romantic love scene unfolds. It's not hard to fill in the details of this relationship between Ruth and Boaz. My guess is that she already recognized that Boaz was very attracted to her. After all, she had already been married and understood the man-woman relationship. So, while she may have been nervous about what her mother-in-law told her to do, I'm thinking she knew in her heart that Boaz would be very happy to find her there at the foot of his bed.
However you might imagine the details of this love story, the truth I'd like to share for today is that Jesus loves us as Boaz loved Ruth. Jesus doesn't force his lordship into our lives. God woos us, and He loves adopting us into the family. Ultimately, by the way, we are the bride of Christ, just as Ruth became the bride of Boaz.

Join Ruth L. Miller, cybernetician and metaphysician, as she explores new ways of thinking and acting in our world today. The questions we ask determine the answers we can find, and, with her background in anthropology, ecology, religious studies and the systems sciences, Dr. Miller always has interesting questions to ask and find answers.
The new concerns in Iraq and Pope Francis' invitation to the heads of Israel and Palestine for "dialogue and prayer" provide fodder for Ruth's opening remarks in this show.
Then the focus is on interdimensional beings, whether they're experienced as angels or e.t.s or leprechauns or devas. Susan Wiley will be joining Ruth for this intriguing exploration of the "others" that so many people have encountered. Together they'll explore some of Susan's adventures with both angels and ets - and explain some of the science that can help us understand these phenomena.
