As children we don't always get along with our siblings. We fight over everything from clothing to who is going to use the bathroom next. But there are often times when we grow into adults and feel as though our siblings were treated a certain way as children and we have now taken those feelings from childhood into our adult lives. Join us for "Sibling Rivalry" as we discuss taking the feelings and emotions of being treated differently as a child into adulthood. Thursday November 12 9AM EST.

TOPIC;We will be discussing the negative confrontations and ignorances that continue to keep the black communities stuck in depression, hopelessness, and niggery,,,The ways we deal with one another and the state of being we become when we have a difference of opinion or when one transgress there boundaries,,,have we reached a higher level of empoerment within our own state of being? have we checked our 'SHIT?',,are you proud of the state and condition of your people?...since Martin and Malcolm,Elijah and The Black Panther Partys,,,What have we done to improve ourselves? What common ground of conciousness have we reached to solidify our position and the dinner table? ,,"at any given moment we can become... the dinner"
Weak ,Soft Sweet,Punk,Herb,Vick,Buster,Scrub.WE all are effected by the images we are seen in rather then the intelligence we stand with,Confrontation is the immediate gratification, and ignorance is bliss,,and with movies like the PURGE 'feeding us this constant image of a SOCIETAL CONVENTIONALISED,CONCIOUS AND JUSTIFIED HUMAN EXTERMINATION PROCESS it will become the norm..it will become realty..and we will become EXTINCT...8 years have passed, since we witnessed something we never thought we'd live to see,a Black Man in The White House..What has that done for the black communitys empowerment.conciousness, cultural awareness,..."NOT A GOT DAM THING"...we better recognise..WE ALL WE GOT..."RIVALRY IN THE BLACK COMMUNITY,THE TROUBLE MENDING THE PROBLEM" is the topic

Unspoken Rivalry; Multiple Perspectives On #Interracial & #Intercultural Relationships
This is my personal view and experience. I speak only for me, Rasheeda S. The topic we are covering are the experiences of Interracial & Intercultural Relationships. Many Interracial & Intercultural Relationships struggle with outsiders prejudging and ignorance. There are some who aren't comfortable with the uniting of different races or cultural backgrounds. Those issues may stem from prior history with an opposite ethnic group. In some countries around the world they are not encouraged to bring another culture into their own.
However times have changed and there seems to be a bit more acceptance. Reality is that there are still those who completely impose multicultural relations. There are individuals who feel that others have sold their own ethnic group out by carrying Interracial Relationships. Although I Support Black Love; I do still believe that Love is Love no matter race, cultural background or sexual orientation.
What Are Your Thoughts On The Topic?
San Diego,CA- Oh how the power struggle can be so fun. In the big world of College Sports and especially College Football. The big dogs get what they want. Those would be the big names in College Football. As, Alabama has had a season of ups and downs including a loss to an Ole Miss team who really is not that good. They still find themselves in the top four and on track to make the College Football playoff. Unbeaten teams like Michigan State, Baylor, and TCU did not get the love to be in the top 4. With the ending of the season rapidly approaching and the BIG Ten Conference losing momentum with each week. Some wonder if even a win against Ohio State the defending champion has any luster to it.
Tomorrow night the Chicago Bears will try to do something rare in the Jay Cutler era: win at Lambeau. It's a Thanksgiving matchup in primetime between two old foes, and the Packers got the better of the Bears in Week 1. What's changed since that game, what remains the same and what are the odds of a Bears upset victory? Meanwhile the Bulls and Hawks are still on the road, having trouble closing out games. Plus my Fantasy Football picks for the Thanksgiving games!

Sibling rivalry is a type of competition or animosity among siblings, whether blood related or not. Siblings generally spend more time together during childhood than they do with parents. The sibling bond is often complicated and is influenced by factors such as parental treatment, birth order, personality, and people and experiences outside the family. Sibling rivalry often continues throughout childhood and can be very frustrating and stressful to parents. Adolescents fight for the same reasons younger children fight, but they are better equipped to physically, intellectually, and emotionally hurt and be intellectually and emotionally hurt by each other. Physical and emotional changes cause pressures in the teenage years, as do changing relationships with parents and friends. Fighting with siblings as a way to get parental attention may increase in adolescence. Sibling rivalry can continue into adulthood and sibling relationships can change dramatically over the years. Events such as a parent’s illness may bring siblings closer together, whereas marriage may drive them apart, particularly if the in-law relationship is strained.
