CHI FOR YOURSELF guest: Luis Angel Diaz
Tags: Luis Angel Diaz Memory in the Cells negative emotional changes consciousness happiness
(Originally aired in October 2010)
Our Chi For Yourself guest experienced a major shift in his life with the death of his 38 year old wife, with whom he was raising their 3 children. The shock and pain Luis Angel Diaz experienced became a catalyst for a profound inner process in human discovery. He discovered that layers of negative emotional charge accumulate and are stored inside our bodies, causing many body-mind chemical imbalances and health/life challenges, and prevent us from experiencing peace and wellbeing. After several months of personal discovery, Luis began to apply this new approach with his clients. He observed his clients experience healing in a permanent way when they were able to transform these layers of emotional charge found in what he began to call “the cellular memory”. Luis named this new set of techniques “Cellular Memory Release” (CMR) and formulated it into a synthesis for training others. Operating from his Body-Mind Center in Nevada City, California, Luis has trained and educated hundreds of people in CMR since 1997. Luis Angel Diaz is the author of Memory in the Cells.

'The Matt Duffin Show' - "TheCatsMeow" Tami Diaz
by Brain Injury Radio in Social Networking

Tammi Diaz brings TBI Survivor drive back to BrainInjuryRadio on TMDS. We offer great information nightly, but occasionally simply too much to quick is my opinion. On occasion, sure feels like info is drilling holes in my head – and I’ve experience quite a bit of both. Tammi was on the bad end of an auto/pedestrian accident in Jan. 1995, in Utah. The results included a severe traumatic brain injury and pelvic fracture. Five weeks in hospital, and another six months of therapy came next. But as we know, the road ends abruptly, when we don’t quite feel like the “books” say we do. (Who wrote them?) “Therapists can't help you relearn everything,” Tammi told me. “I retained my brain how to do word search, sew, and needlepoint with plastic canvas along with many other things. It was real hard for me to accept that I am now disabled. For about a year I was real depressed, I would always eat and sleep and I gained 70 pounds.” The mature lady has grown, and now a grandmother. “Life is more of a challenge now, " she says, "I have learned to pace myself." On 'bad days' she states "Instead of laying in bed, I get up, shower, and do one of my hobbies -sew, needlepoint with plastic canvas.” Yet Tammi is the ‘The CatsMeow’ when it comes to blogging. “My blogs on the computer are very therapeutic, so I get better faster. Also my hobbies help me so I do not have to take as much medication.” The high-desert Angel closes “I have really learned to appreciate life. I am proud of who I am. Life is a Gift.” She'll explain the Utah BIA system, her experience in support groups and laugh – that's mandatory on TMDS. We’ll also visit the new CNH Rehab Hospital. Its Grand!
