    Solid line up tonight on Whiskey Bent "In The Pit" radio show,  We start with Bryan Mroczka from Bullrush BBQ to talk about his RGC that turned in a 3rd place overall this weekend in Apopka in a matter of minutes.  He also had a perfect score in pork that we look forward to hearing about.  Chuck Carnesdale will join us next to recap his Apopka weekend and talk a bit about the scoring snafu at awards on Saturday.  The Grand Champion from Apopka, Terry McKay from Git R Smoked will recap his cook and win at this huge contest.  We close the show with Jeff Campbell from Wicked Que.  We will talked to him about his 2013 Georgia Team of the Year Championship and what does 2014 hold for him.  We hope you can join us starting at 7 PM EST tonight!

    Coming off last week's epic return, another stellar round of guests is planned for tonight!  We kick off the show with 2013 FBA Team of the Year and Lakeland Pig Festival RGC, Matt Barber from Hot Wauchula's.  When Matt isn't living an episode of "House", you will find him bottling some of the best BBQ sauces, hot sauces & salsas around!  We will catch up with Matt and talk about his great 2013 and what he has in store for 2014.  Dear friend and show favorite, Michael McDearman from Get Fired Up! Foods will join us to catch us up on a couple things he has going on.  You don't want to miss out on this as you know Michael always has a couple irons in the fire!!


    Closing the show will be Tim Grant from TrueBud BBQ.  I was fortunate enough to meet Tim and team towards the end of last year when they were here in FL making that run that lead to 2013 KCBS Team of the Year!  They are really great folks and had the best KCBS season that I have seen since I started cooking in 2007.  Since this is the first time for Tim "In the Pit", you know we are going all Roy Firestone and starting from what got Tim started all the way through how the heck do you win 16 GC's in one year!

    We are coming back with a real strong show tonight after spending some time out in Las Vegas at the World Food Championships and USA BBQ Championships.  We have a star studded line-up tonight.  We will get started with Scott Kontny from United Pork Smokers.  He is coming off a RGC at When Pigs Fly South this weekend and also represented the state of FL at The Jack!  Our next guest is Jeff Petkevicius from Give It To God BBQ Team who was the Grand Champion this past weekend at When Pigs Fly South and boy does he have a story about how all that happened!  The second hour is two of our biggest fan favorites.  Everyone's favorite cowboy cook, Kent Rollins, will join us to talk about his second appearance on Chopped! and how the ol' chuckwagon is treating him and Shannon.  We close the show with good friend, Danielle Dimovski of DivaQ and BBQ Crawl.  Danielle just released her 2013 Christmas gift recommendations over on her blog at divaq.ca and there are some good recommendations.  We will also talk about her BBQ season and what lays ahead in 2014!  We hope you can join us starting at 7 PM EST.

"In the Pit" Radio Show returns tonight after a little too long of a hiatus.  We have a stellar line up of guests.  We will start with Atlantic City Smoke on the Water Productions? Grand Champion, Mike Richter? from Chix, Swine & Bovine, Bbq.?  We welcome first time guest of the show Chuck Carnesale? who is going to talk to us about his huge FBA contest in Apopka, FL in February with the Old Florida Outdoor Festival. 
    We kick off the 2nd hour with friend of the show, William Bubba Latimer? and he will bring us up to speed on his new restaurant in Savannah, GA and we will briefly recap his win two weekends ago.  We close the show with David Mauro? from The Blue Bloods to talk about his RGC in Vidalia, LA two weekends ago and his successful performance at the American Royal this past weekend.

    This week's show is packed with winners from last weekend's BBQ competition circuit.  We start the show with Matt Barber from Hot Wauchula's!  Matt will be talking about his RGC in Amelia Island this weekend.  Matt is also a great source of knowledge regarding sauce bottleing and label design so we will pick his brain a bit.
    Our second guest is the GC from Amelia Island and that is Kenny Nadeau from Uncle Kenny's BBQ.  Kenny is not only a pitmaster on the circuit but has a restaurant and a line of sauces so we will talk about everything he has going on in the world of BBQ.
    We close the show with Bill Allen from Hollywood N Swine to talk about his GC this weekend in Harrisburg, VA KCBS competition.  We had the pleasure of meeting Bill in Rhode Island this year and look forward to welcoming him "In the Pit" for his first appearance!

Second to join us will be Don Fisher, a team favorite organizer from Suncoast BBQ Bash to talk about the FBA Florida State Championship in April!  We will also have Tracy Bontrager from Swinos to talk a little bit about different meat cuts, etc as he had the pleasure of spending some time with our good friend, Shawn McCranie over at Master Purveyors in Tampa, FL this week.  We will close the show with the Grand Champion of Hammond, LA this weekend, Adam from Cajun Blaze!

    Forget the State of the Union Address, "In the Pit" BBQ Radio is what you want to listen to tonight!  We start with everyone's favorite grillmaster, Michael McDearman.  Michael has a ton of projects going on since coming off the American GrillMaster Experience Tour last year.  We will be talking about one project in particular that is going to change the way a ton of teams cook their competition chicken!
    Our second guest is Shannon Duncan, organizer for the Wingin' It Festival.  Wingin' It is a 2nd year event that is ran just like a BBQ contest but it involved chicken wings.  It is held in Winter Haven, FL on April 5-6 and has a ton of entertainment and activities lined up!
    We close the show with Jeff Campbell from Wicked Que.  Jeff will be coming on to talk about his strong RGC at the Lakeland Pig Festival in January.  We will also be talking more in particular about Basques charcoal.  He dropped off a bag to us at Lakeland and let me tell you, we were very impressed when we used it!
