This is a show about the value of our children and how they should know the real meaning of Christmas. There is an obvious reason why a baby is born without worldly knowledge to loving parents. We parents are expected to teach them how to walk, talk, and eat. Before parents send their toddlers to school, society and God expects us to nourish the little ones with life substances. Our children depend on us to learn how to live, grow; remain fit and healthy in more ways than one.
That includes teaching them the meaning of Christmas, how and why Jesus Christ was born. It is parents’ responsibility to set an example and give our little ones a meaning of life’s foundation that will last them a lifetime. Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
Our special guest, Detra and John Taylor, who raised two boys, along with nieces and nephews in a Christian home will share their experiences. Faith Eurie-Turner who’s Blogs can be found on http://professionalnet.ning.com/ will also be out special guest. Join us for a real Christmas threat that makes you feel good and reinforces your belief in the ways to raise your children.
When we communicate with one another why do we take the information that was shared with us as bad or sad or happy or glad or all those words that we can use? When I am working with someone I can tell just by how they are sharing their life stories with me if they are taking the responsibility and accountability that comes with being in charge of their lives.
Today we will talk about the relationship between REAL change and your willingness to own your choices

Teaching our children how to pray is a part o a vital foundation that will prove to be something they will be thankful or.
Prayer must be taught to our children with a purpose. Join us as we study the prayers of Paul, Jesus and others in the bible and learn to use their words as a model for your own prayers. We will personalize them for ourselves and for others and pray them for amazing results. We will also look at the prayers of King David in the book of Psalms. Andrew Murray says " True prayer, that takes hold of God's strength, that availeth much, to which the gates of heaven are really opened wide-who would not cry, 'Oh, for someone to teach me thus to pray'?" He concludes, "Jesus has opened a school, in which He trains His redeemed ones, who specially desire it, to have power in prayer." Prepare to take your prayer life to the next level as we pray the word of God. Your prayer life will be transformed. Tell a friend and join us for the discussion on prayer.

Philosopher Dr. Diana Hsieh discussed "Responsibility & Luck, Chapter Six" with listeners in this episode of Philosophy in Action Radio.
Can an Aristotelian theory of moral responsibility solve the problem of moral luck? In particular, how does the theory of responsibility for actions handle the proposed cases of "circumstantial moral luck"? I will answer these questions and more in this discussion of Chapter Six of my book,Responsibility & Luck: A Defense of Praise and Blame.

God is a kind and loving father. He wants good things to happen for his children but it requires us to ask. Just like we ask our earthly father and mother when we want things in our lives. We just have to ask. Matt 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: When we pray that we have to pray believing. Also, when we pray we have to pray that it "his will" and not ours.
In life sometimes we are challenged with situations that we wonder why but, when we seek Gods wisdom in spirit and in truth He reveals things we don't see with our natural eyes. Most of the time we don't want to accept the truth. In John 14:12 the bible promises '12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.
As believers we must ask God always for His will to be done. Tune in, call in and let's pray for our children.
IRS Shared Responsibility Payment (Penalty Tax) Under Affordable Care Act
This episode will discuss the IRS Shared Responsibility Payment (Penalty Tax) Under Affordable Care Act. As most Americans know by now respectfully, there is nothing Affordable about the Affordable Healthcare Act and the imposition of a IRS Shared Responsibility Payment (Penalty Tax) Under Affordable Care Act is an example. Under the IRS guidelines,
"If you (or any of your dependents) do not maintain coverage and do not qualify for an exemption, you will need to make an individual shared responsibility payment with your return. In general, the payment amount is either a percentage of your income or a flat dollar amount, whichever is greater. You will owe 1/12th of the annual payment for each month you (or your dependents) do not have coverage and are not exempt. The annual payment amount for 2014 is the greater of:
1 percent of your household income that is above the tax return threshold for your filing status, such as Married Filing Jointly or single, or
Your family’s flat dollar amount, which is $95 per adult and $47.50 per child, limited to a maximum of $285."

As we watch our children grow, they are increasing in stature in height, in weight and in thier abilities every single day - we must also boldly expect increase in thier spirituality, in thier wisdom and in thier accomplishments.
