In the wake of recent news regarding Bobbi Kristina - the only daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston - I am rescheduling my previously planned August Alsina episode to focus on prayer for Bobbi Kris. What are your thoughts about this? Do you believe foul play could be involved? Do you believe there's too much pressure on children of celebrities because they grow up in the spotlight? No matter what your views, we ask that you be respectful of the Houston and Brown families.

We will be rescheduling today's guest, Danné Montague-King, author of The Maybelline Prince, due to illness.
Today's topic instead will be one that I have been asked about a great deal from clients and friends - How is it I am so positive and enthusiatic each day? Well, I could say its the booze, but that would send a paramedic to my house:))))) So I simply respond, it is my CHOICE....as it is yours. So the question is, do you make it so, or are you one like so many, who is more comfortable playing the victim!

Today on Alzheimer's Speaks Radio we will be raising awareness on staying mentally healthy when caring for someone with dementia for the first hour; and then the second hour we will learn about Pittsburgh's Alzheimer's Disease Research Center.
Our first guest will be Jill LaFaive Gafner founder of Global Training Experts. I love her story, as it shows the power of her shift and how she has leveraged her new skills in caregiving with her base skill set of coaching and training. Jill has earned her Certified Dementia Practitioner and Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Training certificates through the International/National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners. Jill also authored the book, “Personal Positioning for the Caregiver”, a motivational guide for caregivers on staying mentally healthy while caring for their patients. Join the conversation and find out what tips Jill has to share with you.

Relationships - Self Love Relationship - Loving oneself means caring about oneself, taking responsibility for oneself, respecting oneself, and knowing oneself (being realistic and honest about one's strengths and weaknesses). In order to be able to truly love another person, a person needs first to love oneself in this way.
Loving yourself is an important part of enjoying and getting the most out of your life. It's also crucial for getting and maintaining satisfying relationships with others. Loving yourself is mainly having self-respect, which is the only dependable way to create love in your own life. To be able to be loved, you must love and respect yourself as much as you do others.
Stop trying to be perfect. Stop criticizing yourself for being less than perfect. Always do your best, but not reaching perfection is not failure. Don't let anyone's expectations of you put any pressure on you. Remember that no matter what, you will always be perfect just the way you are, flaws and all.

There is no sinlge more important component to gaming than high quality stories. Storytelling, whether done around table games, board games, an author's imagination, or video games can make the difference between playing once and returning to a game many times. In this show we will discuss storytelling in a myriad of games and indulge in discussing our own gaming wishlists.
