Please join us Sunday at 10AM CST as we discuss we leadership, or the lack thereof, in the Black community.
Has the current leadership failed us? Why or why not?
Is it time for the current leadership to share the roles or vacate? It's not as though we need their permission.
What type of leadership is needed in the Black community?
Where do we start? Has the #Ferguson uprising ignited a kindling fire?
What do we need in terms of resources?
Who are our true allies? Have some of our trusted allies betrayed us?
Where are the Democrats?
Why are some wealthy Blacks telling us to stop protesting and go home?
Is prayer the answer?
Why is there a deafening silence in the secular community?
Why do some of these people take our loyalty for granted? Some feel entitled to it.
Is it time for a change? What? Who? Why?
Where do we go from here?
Why are the Millennials so important to this paradigm shift?
Let's talk about. Open discussion. Open chatroom this week.

A very near and dear friend was killed last night by her husband in a murder-suicide. Angelina was a good woman and good mother whose life was cut brutally short, but we want to help her three orphaned children however we can. All of the money raised will go towards the children's educations. A donation of any amount or simply spreading the word is invaluable. Thank you. ~Emelyne
Over the years, there has been significant debate on the impact that interracial relationships have on the black community as a whole. As more blacks become conscious of their history and heritage, they are viewing interracial relationships in a different light. Is it okay for a black man to bypass a black queen to marry a white women? Does a black woman slight her race when she chooses to marry a white man? These are questions that need to be examined in depth. We will do just that in this episode of Real Talk with Rick and J. Rich.

Some estimates say that more than $12.5 billion a year is taken in by the black church each year, but how much of that money actually goes back into the community from where it came? How many times have you seen a very nice church in a run down community? The church collects tithes and offerings from it's members, but do the members have access to those same funds when they may need them? Handing out school supplies, Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners are great, but what about the everyday needs of the people in the community in which the church resides? We applaud those churches that have soup kitchens, food pantries and a benevolance fund and don't require folks to jump through hoops to receive financial assistance every once and a while, but many churches do no such thing. How has tithing and giving money to the church effected the economic well being of the black community at large. We are not talking about any individual church here, but the black church as a whole. Join RTR this and every Sunday at 10am est, as we talk about this and more. You can also listen live by calling 661.449.9951
