My guest on Saturday, Nov. 15 is Pastor Jim Costello. Pastor Jim will be 'chatting' with me about his new book, Perilous Times: Blow the Trumpet in Zion
About the book:
This book, heartfelt and God-given, focuses on the dangerous times we live in. God spoke to author Jim D. Costello and asked him to warn the people of the dark hours that we live on planet earth. Our churches are in a spiritual coma. God's very elect are being deceived by Satan. Our churches have become businesses; the love of money has waxed cold because pastors aren't paying the price of praying. Our churches aren't houses of prayer, but places of buying and selling. This book was inspired by God and written through very careful praying and fasting. This book was written to warn the elect that we are living in dark times. The rapture is now upon us, so look up-our Redeemer draweth nigh.
About the author:
As a young man called of God at the age of twelve, Jim D. Costello started ministering to people in churches all over America. He was trained in the New Mexico desert for three years for the Special Forces in the Vietnam, where he received twenty-five commendations. When he returned to the United States, he was a decorated soldier with several medals, including the Bronze Star. In 1975, he started seminary, where he attended for eight years. He managed an advertising company and preached revivals at night. After fifteen years, he resigned from the company and evangelized for roughly five years all over the United States. God then spoke to him, telling him to start a church in Little Rock, Arkansas; he was pastor there for fifteen years.

The Grand Jury has deliberated, the decision has been made, yet people still cry for justice. So we ask ourselves what is justice? Is it the political indictment of a man or the lynching of an innocent? The events that followed the announcement of the Grand Jury were filled with tear gas, gun fire, burning and looting; so someone please tell me how destroying the livelihood of your community brings justice.
We mourn the loss of a child, a parent, a community a police department and even an officer, must live with the events that fomented these events but at what point do we look at the root causes of the matter and change them? Is it the income disparity, the broken families, the lack of education or simply the color of ones skin that matters; or all of these? I for one would like to know, I would also like to know where we go next.
Join me for a no holds barred review of the events and people that make our world the place it is. Have you been holding it in? Wouldn't you like to put things in place?

R.E.S.T.O.R.E. - The first "R" of this Planet Restoration acronymn stands for "Relation"; and, for this reason, we want to turn our attention to our relations currently facing and attempting to address the recent outbreak of the Ebola virus in Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria, and Sierra Leone. Why has the international communtiy been so slow to respond, and appear to have turned its back on Africa? What is reality and what is myth concerning the Ebola virus? How has the global media helped to raise awareness and stem the spread of the virus; AND, has the media made matters worse by stoking peoples' greatest fears, promoting misinformation, misrepresenting how Africa actually is, and magnifying already-existing stigmas surrounding disease in Africa? What can everyday people do right now to help stop the spread of Ebola?
Our first guest, Olimatta Taal of SenGhigen Productions, whose family is from The Gambia, West Africa, is working with various reggae and world-music artists to promote an education campaign to highlight African voices on the continent and throughout the diaspora addressing this complex issue and helping educate communities, as well as providing much-needed 'Ebola packs.'
