SWU – Policing ourselves in our Community
We have heard that we need to police the police to make sure they are held accountable. So the question was asked, why don’t we hold ourselves to a higher standard when we want our communities to be better? Why do we turn our heads when gangs come around and pretend what they are doing or representing in the community aren’t confronted about how they are destroying the community? Let’s start the Officer Involved communication with the community. Let’s Partner with the Police to rebuild what so many have died trying to have for their children and grandchildren.
Why is it important to appreciate who you are? Why is honoring the soul that you are a turning point in your life? Tune in and Join in on the Conversation tomorrow morning at 5:30 AM, PST!
Many of us set up New Years Resolutions or goals for 2015. We are nearly halfway through through the year. Have you checked in on those personal "promises" recently? If you did, how are you doing? By this time of year, most of us have forgotten what we promised ourselves or have given up.
