This is the first of our new weely show through Flatirons Running Inc. Today we meet the owners, staff, the history of the store and, of course, running! Flatirons Running is a full-service specialty running store located in the Table Mesa Shopping Centerof one of the nations most influential running communities, Boulder, CO. The business began its inception in 2009 being called In-Step. Family-owned by RL Smith and Tricia Vieth, In-Step offered a unique and personalized experience for the runner, focusing on the world famous custom insoles built by RL. RL has become known as the Foot Whisperer to many of his clientele with his impeccable ability to diagnose foot issues and resolve aches and pains with his ‘built on location’ custom insoles, tagged with years of experience in the running and cycling arena.
In 2014, RL and Tricia were approached by Henry and Suzanne Guzman with an offer that could only extend the services to our community. With years of experience as the buyer for another running store in town, Henry came to the table with connections in the industry, extensive experience in the running world as both an athlete and a coach and a knack for knowing what the runner needs and wants which has since outfitted the newly rebranded store, now known as Flatirons Running, to be a true full-service running store.
The combination of a full line of footwear, apparel, accessories, hydration and nutritionals, along with the custom insoles by RL, this is a store that you must visit to find exactly what you need to either get started, stay on track and stay healthy as a runner/walker/hiker!
Join Ed, Craig and Cutrer this week on OTTR as they look back at the Monday Night War. If you could start your life over, what would you do differently?
Can you delete your past and start over? Before you can enjoy the quality of life that is eluding you now, you have to free yourself from the chains of regret.
Start with baby steps...the first person to forgive is yourself. The English Poet, Alexander Pope wrote "To err is human, to forgive is divine." Regrets are a natural part of life. Regrets aren't reasons to beat yourself up, but are experiences to learn from. When you're involved in an argument or yelling at a spouse or avoiding a pal's phone call, DON'T DWELL ON IT. Identify how your behavior esculated out of control and apologize.
Men demonstrate love...etc.
Most common regret involves...etc.
You're not alone...etc.
Love is unconditional...etc.
Scripture : John 11: 1-46
Key Verses : John 11:25-27
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection , and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall! he live
And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.
Benjamin Day of the United Health Care Cycling Team joins us for an insider view of US Pro Cycling Challenge Stage 2. United Health Care is having a great race with Kiel Riejnen now wearing the Sprint Jersey. Stage 2 opens fast by ripping down the Aspen Valley through the sprint cities of Basalt and Carbondale before tackling the 8,700 ft. McClure Pass. A short descent brings the race to Gunnison County road 12, which is a 20-mile rollercoaster that constantly changes from pavement to dirt and back again, while topping out at 9,900 ft. over Kebler Pass. A technical descent into Crested Butte brings the race back to familiar terrain. As in 2011 and 2012, the race will finish up with a sprint through downtown Crested Butte and the steep finish climb up to Mt. Crested Butte.

What sustains us during times of trauma, and how do we access it in the moments we most need it? These are the questions that will be addressed in our next show with survivor and author Bunny Stevens whose powerful new memoir, Unholy Union: A Memoir of Clergy Sexual Abuse Within the Salvation Army Life, details her compelling life’s story about family and institutional sexual abuse and the power of faith and love that helped her triumph over her betrayers.

I was unable to write "...with United Health Care Cycling team's Benjamin Day" this time as Ben formally retired from professional racing following yesterday's final stage of the US Pro Cycling Challenge. After a 17 year racing career, Ben decided it was time to focus on his coaching business 'Day by Day Coaching'. Ben will give us his final recap of the 2014 USPCC. It was an understandably emotional finish for Day but he's excited about the future.
We go "Way Over the Rainbow" tonight with host Andrew Martin. This marks an exciting new hour, focusing on LGBT news, politics and entertainment. Andrew introduces guests, plays great music, and hopes to delve into serious LGBT culture while at the same time keeping the ambience light and fun.
Tonight's guest is Grammy Award-nominated singer-songwriter Marsha Malamet, best known for Peter Allen's hit song "Love Don't Need a Reason." She was one of the first openly-gay female recording artists signed to a major label, has had her songs recorded by Barbra Streisand and Diana Ross among many others, and was the Executive Producer for Reno's: A Reunion for AIDS, which celebrated the legendary New York cabaret Reno Sweeney and featured such guests as Janis Ian, Ken Page, Alaina Reed, Phoebe Snow, Sally Kellerman, and the pioneering openly-gay vocal trio Gotham.
A HUGE "Thank You!" to Ron Kiefel and Wheat Ridge Cyclery for allowing us to record this morning's presentation with cycling great Jens Voigt. 7 time Tour de France finisher Kiefel moderates the discussion with 17 time (including 340 stage finishes) Tour de France finisher Voigt. Discussion ranges from Voigt's childhood in East Germany, fall of the Berlin Wall to whether or not Jens is more popular in the US or German. Oh yes, there is plenty of cycling talk as well.
Last episode we discussed whether or not it was worth going back to an ex. This week we discuss how to survive a breakup, heal from it and ultimately move on. And of course or special guest Colin Christopher has some expert tips. The amazing Julie will be subbing in for Chiara this week.
